[hmmm, for anyone who actually reads this... looks like it is showing my status for my stepson but this story is about the father of my stepson, the original reason I am involved in any visa journeys!!]
We met in March, 2007 in San Francisco through a mutual friend. We proceeded to spend the next 6 months together, taking trips locally in California, as well as a tour of the national parks of the southwest and 10 days on two islands of Hawaii. When his tourist visa expired in September, we already knew we wanted to stay together. We tried to get him back on another tourist visa for Christmas, to meet all of my family, but we were rejected. So we got married November 22 in Bulgaria! <Sigh> I waited so long to find my husband that it seemed silly for me to be without him in the US, so I went to join him in Bulgaria while we wait. I probably would have gotten fired from my job anyway; I was spending all my time on VisaJourney! :) ... fast forward 5 years later. Jumped through all the hoops. Hubby is a citizen. We are now applying to immigrate his younger son to the US.
