I’m a USC bringing my spouse over, and I’m wondering how to navigate this situation as it pertains to adding my spouse to my insurance. I will begin a new job at the end of January, and the enrollment period for insurance benefits will begin on 2/1/23. My husband will not be physically in the US at that point, so how would I add him to insurance after the fact—is it even possible? Any insurance wizards or people who have been in the same boat who can comment or give advice? Thanks in advance and apologies if this isn’t the right forum!
