I'm also a fellow Potomac I-751 filer. Filed 751 in Nov. 2022, no movement at all besides a 24-month extension and a 48-month extension. Filed N-400 last month, Tampa FO. Currently showing estimated completion 9 months on that.
Finally filed the N-400 today online. Hopefully I'll see some movement on my 751 which is at Potomac. N-400 estimated time to completion went down to 6 months. Tampa FO.
Just submitted my application online. Received the biometrics reuse and receipt notice almost right away. Tampa FO. Estimated completion was 16 months then 5 minutes later updated to 10 months. Gotta focus on the civics test now no more horsing around about that.
Will do for sure! Yeah hopefully it moves quick and smooth. A quick question, what all documents did you upload? Did you upload any of the marriage stuff besides the marriage certificate?
Hey, I'm from Tampa as well. Haven't filed my N-400 yet but will be filing the last week of October as my 90-day window opens based on the 3-year rule with a pending 751. Glad to have a fellow Tampa October 23' filer in here. Good luck!
Hello all,
Currently my 751 is pending at Potomac for almost a year with no updates at all besides 2 extension letters. I will be eligible to file my N-400 later this month and in preparing for that I read to upload a letter to request a combo interview so both the 751 and the N-400 can adjudicated together on the same day at the same interview. Has anybody uploaded that and would be kind enough to share a template of that letter? I would highly appreciate that.
Thank you.
I'll be eligible to file for N-400 late next month. Plan to do it by self and submit it online early November. Downloaded the form and instructions, have the form almost filled out.
My situation is the same, mortgage is in my citizen wife's name. But the deed is in our joint name as per the Florida law. I submitted a certified copy of the joint deed of the house. That should work along with copies of the bank statement highlighting the mortgage payment coming out of the joint bank account.
Receipt Notice Date: November 17th, 2022. Filed at Potomac.
Received my 48-month extension letter today in the mail. Nothing regarding biometrics yet. Online case status at "Case Was Received".
Don't know how to react to it LOL. Does this mean oh yay no need to worry about getting a 551 stamp at the end of expiration or oh damn USCIS expects ROC to keep getting worse and is like eff it everyone just gets a 4 year extension.
They should just abolish the ROC. I understand it is to prevent marriage fraud, but I think the fraud prevention can be done during the Naturalization interview for permanent residents who obtained residency through marriage.
Received NOA with the 24-month extension in the mail today. Now the looooooong hibernation period. Sigh. 25.5 months average time as of today at the Potomac.
