Pleased to share my recent interview experience. Had my N-400/I-751 combo interview on July 1st. It was the most pleasant and humble experience one could ask for. Things might have been delayed the day of since we had to wait 90 minutes past our appointment time to be finally called up by the most friendly IO. She greeted my and my wife both, but politely asked my wife to wait in the lobby as she would not be needing her to adjudicate the case, even though she had called me a week before the appointment to remind me to bring my wife since there is a pending 751. After the pleasant greetings, swearing in, and fingerprints and photo, I was asked to provide my greencard and DL(these ended up being the only documents she asked for out of the almost 500-page file I had). Started with the civics questions, which I passed with ease. Then to the yes/no questions. I was asked if there were any changes, there were a couple changes since I had an international vacation between filing and interview, we updated that and signed it. She congratulated me and said I passed the N-400 part of the interview, we will now proceed to the 751. Asked my wife's full name. And congrats again that's all she needed. Handed me the paper which said I passed the test. Explained the 751 transfer process, it will be approved once she has the file transferred. Once approved, oath ceremony notice will be mailed to me. Walked me to the exit door, where my awesome pregnant wife waited patiently. 😁 July 2nd - 751 was transferred. July 3rd - 751 case was approved. July 3rd - N400 has been recommended for approval and submitted for quality review. July 3rd - N400 oath ceremony will be scheduled. July 4th - First 4th of July in this country of the last 20 years of me being here which had all the feels and emotions and that proud feeling of being an American.(Almost an American, I know) July 9th - Oath ceremony has been scheduled for July 23rd. 🇺🇸 Thanks a lot to everybody on this forum. Just a got a call from the field office, not sure if it was actually the IO. They called to let me know I need to bring my spouse with me since there is a pending 751. Hopefully my 751 is transferred by the interview time and hopefully I can get a decision same day.

I'll be taking hard copies of the important documents for sure like my expired green card, wife's birth certificate, my passports, interview letter etc. Should I print out everything and take hard copies of other documents as well like all the tax transcripts, joint bank accounts etc?

Hello all, My N-400 interview is next Monday July 1st. Filed under the 3-year rule being married to a USC while my 751 is pending. I'm assuming and preparing for it as a combo interview, although haven't received any notice or letter specifically mentioning it will be a combo interview. I filed the N-400 online, so all the documents were electronically submitted. I'll be taking hard copies of the important documents for sure like my expired green card, wife's birth certificate, my passports, interview letter etc. Should I print out everything and take hard copies of other documents as well like all the tax transcripts, joint bank accounts etc? Any other useful info? TIA.

I too just got the same update on my pending 751 about the fingerprints reuse. And seems like a whole bunch of other 751 cases with similar timeline got the same update as well. I do have my N-400 interview scheduled for July 1st.

Thanks. I filed online on October 24th, 2023 so almost 7 months to get the interview scheduled. Marriage based with a pending I-751 ROC since November 2022.

Alright, so after what seems like ages my interview has been finally scheduled for July 1st. Now to start brushing up on the civics test. Excitedly nervous 😬

Almost 7 months since filing date, still waiting for the interview to be scheduled. According to live agent as of yesterday the case is still at NBC, which means it hasn't been forwarded to the field office yet for scheduling. No option but to wait I guess. Deep sigh. 🤷‍♂️

Just checking in on our fellow October 2023 filers. My timeline went from 1 day to case is taking longer than expected stayed like that for a while then last week it restarted the countdown from 28 days. Now I know those numbers are just very random but seeing that still delighted me lol. I'm sure it will again go down to case is longer than expected lol 🤷‍♂️

Being "Actively" Reviewed since October 24th, 2023 makes me think it's not very active actually lol. Anyways, happy to see fellow Oct. '23 filers getting interviews scheduled and some have already gone on to become citizens already. Hopefully "Actively" reviewed ones like me and lots of others get some updates soon as well. 🤞

I filed on 10/24/2023 and still waiting for an interview. Presumably there are many others also still waiting. But a few lucky ones from Oct 2023 have indeed already naturalized or soon will be.

Was checking the Case Tracker app today, saw that the case number in front of me was just approved today. Happy for them, but man so sad from inside that why wasn't it my case lol. Potomac filers for reference.

That's awesome to hear they called you and et you. I'm still waiting to get my interview scheduled, so far no updates. Did your 751 status change to "Case was transferred" or no changes on the 751 end? Oh, and good luck and hope you're studying hard for the test lol. Do post the deets about your interview afterwards, will help a fellow Tampa filer. 😀

My estimated completion time went from 4 months to 2 days! Could that be a glitch? Because they are even yet schedule me for an interview. Checked my Documents Tab also, no interview notice yet either. Has anybody else's time changed so drastically? Filed on 10/24/2023 online. Tampa FO.
