    My wife is pregnant and odds that her I-130 case will be approved before birth are slim. Healthcare in her area is extremely poor. Is it possible they'll consider granting her a B2 visa to give birth here?

    So I’ve been seeing an RFE come through requesting a civilly registered marriage certificate. The one I submitted with the filing was the church certificate. I obtained the civil one after I filed. I want to submit it before I get the RFE. if I submit the certificate now, is it true that my application gets put in the back of the queue?

    My job requires on-site presence. Only way to go to her would be to leave my job

    my wife is having a very rough pregnancy and she needs care. Me going to visit her would result in a severe financial loss.

    So I reached out to Ask Emma to ask how I can submit an expedite request. The agent sent me the generic list of reasons you can expedite and asked me which one applies. I responded with the reason (literally one sentence) and was given a reference number and they said have a good day. What does this mean? Is my expedite request officially in?

    So I got my NOA1 back in Feb. The bottom of the letter said Texas Service Center. Simply out of curiosity, i asked Emma where it is and they mentioned it's been at California Service Center since the start. Is this normal?

    I am seeing attorneys all over tiktok saying that most cases are being approved quickly and interviews are even being cancelled. Can anyone confirm?

    Yes but apparently it expedites the I-130. The I-129F itself won't be approved.

    Is it frowned upon to have a gap in employment for 3-4 months? I just submitted my I-130 but was considering taking a break so i can spend time with my wife. Will this negatively impact my petition?

    Hi All, I filed my I-130 petition a couple weeks ago (around the same time my wife got pregnant). I know that pregnancy is not normally grounds to expedite, but after seeing the healthcare system and how it runs in this country is causing me extreme anxiety. Just the hygiene alone is enough reason to cause anyone to fear for their loved ones' health. Yes, people here are alive and well, but I (who have lived in America my whole life and am not used to this level of carelesness and lack of hygiene) am not able to bear how bad hospitals and doctors are here. There are even pharmacies that sell counterfeit medication. Is this concern valid? I truly don't want to have my wife and baby be treated in this country.

    Forgive me if this has been asked for, but I can’t find anything. I filed I-130 for my wife about two weeks ago and we just found that she’s pregnant. Can someone shed some light on how having a baby will affect the process?
