  1. It's ok! I'm just going to use the 14th and just keep it moving. The difference is negligible anyway haha
  2. You're right, it doesn't matter. It's just that the wait is so long without any new info that i'm just focusing on this now 😂
  3. Well, now I'm even more confused. Here are the dates that are shown to me. uscis tracker: 14, uscis account: 18. noa1 letter "received" says 14, noa1 letter notice says 19. So I have two different "received" dates haha. One on the letter and one on the account. I'm so confused 😭😂 What is everyone else using to calculate theirs?
  4. Thanks for the reply! I was reading through some old threads on here about this and they made me even more confused lol. Apparently some say that NOA1 is the received date which would be the 14th in my case and that the rest is just when it was entered in the system? Anyone know more info about this? Not that it matters that much, but I'm curious
  5. I actually just checked and I'm wrong. The date on my letter is October 19, I was remembering wrong. So I guess NOA1 is October 18?
  6. I sent in my K1 application on October 11, 2022. NOA1 on the letter we received and on the case tracker website is October 14. But I just made an account on uscis and added my case and it says case received on October 18. Why is the date different? Which one is my actual NOA1? I'm confused. Thanks!
  7. I think Mondays are higher because some officers work from home and probably do stuff on the weekend and only log it in on Monday. Just a guess
  8. Any predictions for when you guys think October filers will get our NOA2? Might be fun to look back on it as they months go by
  9. I believe the uscis website says an expedite can be provided when there is a uscis error so look into that as well
  10. Does anyone know how many cases were filed before December 1, 2021 that are still pending?
  11. Yep. At some point my window ended in a February date. Now it's Jan 24 at the latest according to the timeline
  12. My VJ adjudication estimate has moved 2 days earlier in the last couple of days. This is probably a reflection of what we are seeing. Let's hope it keeps going
  13. I know this wait is bad right now but all we can do is be hopeful about the improving times and get excited about our new lives which will begin before we all know it. Good things come to those who wait! It helps that we are all in this together
  14. Probably Vermont. They are at 9 months now which makes sense with her timeline
  15. May I ask why you're sending the RFE stuff in advance? Did you leave certain things out of the original packet?
  16. Thanks!! There is actually an older Q&A somewhere on VJ with a former employee who was filing a k1 themselves. I can't find it right now but someone else might be able to.
  17. That's a great question. I don't think there are enough k1 petitions to make a significant dent either way at the NVC stage. As far as the embassy, that depends solely on the country. Some countries, like mine, only have about 1-2 k1's a month so I don't think it would matter much.
  18. Maybe we can donate the proceedings to USCIS so they can hire more adjudicators 😂
  19. This would be incredible. The rest of us who don't have much of a voice would benefit immensely from getting our stories heard!
  20. Wow, thanks for taking the time to write this. It's very valuable coming from someone who has some experience. Let's hope they are successful in achieving their goals.
  21. Yes!! This is what I'm thinking too. Even if it were to stay like this at least I know that as soon as I'm out of normal times I will submit an inquiry. When I first applied in October and the time kept going up I was terrified I would only get my NOA2 in September of 2024 or something
  22. Anyone else noticed that the processing time didn't change? Still 15.5 months. That's pretty good news still. It hasn't increased in a couple of months
  23. Speaking for myself, I'm fully prepared to wait the full 15.5 months start to finish for NOA2. However, getting excited over improvements is also important for morale. Caution is obviously advised, but that's different than not allowing yourself some excitement over good news. That's just my 2 cents.
