    that would be awesome!! i really hope by this time next year i will be waiting for my interview after having finished with the nvc too. my noa1 is oct 14 2022 and im really hopeful! haha. btw your spreadsheet is phenomenal!!! i cannot thank you enough for doing it! 🙌

    I can see it increasing before it decreases. Purely because if it took 15 months for people who had 30k in front of them, it should naturally take more than that for people who have 50k lets say. 50k is a 66% increase over 30k in backlog. So they have to work a lot more just to keep the later filers at the same number, no? I think they would have to probably get to about 900/week just to keep us at 15.5 months without any increase whatsover. Which is almost what they are doing. And that is assuming we (October 2022 filers) had 55k in front of us (which I have my doubts about)

    I just put in my NOA1 date out of curiosity to see when I could submit an out of normal processing times request and the date has been pushed back another 10 days. Anyone else have the same thing happen? The processing time is still the same though 🤔

    Yeah, it's about how many are in front of us. So if, like you said, people have scanned 38k, (3.5k*11). I think it makes a lot of sense

    I don't know if you read the other thread but it looks like uscis data itself doesn't match up always. They have discrepancies. So 38k or so might actually be right

    They also specify that it's forms that are entered into the system. So it's not those that are rejected right away because of errors like not having the money order etc

    You're right actually. I noticed it too. Sometimes the numbers are way off. Like 2-3k. It can't just be people withdrawing their petitions.

    Wow thank you for putting this together!! This really shows just how bad it's been. Hopefully with some concentrated effort on their part and some good processing times of about 1000-1300 / week they can reduce it to the goal they set for themselves.

    Hmm, I wonder if such an RFE is based on any factors at all. Like age gap, previous marriages or anything like that. Interesting though. Thanks for sharing!

    Seriously! Some countries take even longer. There are people that waited 25 years for that visa. Our 15 months is nothing compared to that. Always good to keep things in perspective!

    I mean they obviously care enough because in the past this used to be like 6 months at most and even 3-4. Take a look at sibling visas. Now THAT is a wait.

    Looks like they've crossed 900 already (I have just counted whatever is so far available in the single threads) from just approvals and denials this week alone that's fantastic!

    Hopefully this means that the increase isn't just a fluke and the number of cases closed stays consistently good
