  1. Sorry if that was confusing. I’m meant clicking this button inside of the app.
  2. I’m happy to shared that today we got our NOA2 approval. Wishing everyone the best on their journey and hoping for everyone to start getting approved soon too. I should note: make sure to click “view online” because sometimes the app doesn’t update the main page information the same day. Ours still shows “case received” on the main page, but online it is indeed approved. NOA1: June 14, 2022 NOA2: June 22, 2023
  3. Thanks for this update. Just hanging out with my fiancé patiently awaiting our NOA2. I find myself fighting the urge to check in too often, so in general I just burry myself in work. My fiancé asks "who about our process babe?", almost everyday, so the urge to check can get a little daunting. So nice to jump in here to see some positive news. 🍻and thanks for sharing this timeline.
  4. Always a little sad to see the est. dates push further out. What helps me and our relationship are the choices we’ve made. I’m here in the Philippines now living our life together just waiting to get approved. Btw, for any foreigner from a visa free country staying in the Philippines, I highly recommend extending your visa in BGC at SM Aurora Premier. They have such a beautiful air conditioned immigration office on the 8th floor of the Tower building. If you’re fortunate to stay here awaiting that approval date, definitely give it a shot. To everyone else, hang in there and remember, stay focused on WHY you started the process. Video chat daily and laugh together often. Keep your relationship alive and you’ll make it through to the end. Best of luck to everyone!!! P.S. eat native dishes 🥰🙏
  5. They should, but so should voters. We elected the people who create and implement these rules. When will the public ever wake up and stop voting their party line, and instead actually learn about who they're voting for? A country where people decide based on actual understanding seems like an imaginary place. Nowhere in the world do the masses come together and make logical choices. It always comes down to candidates vying for public approval at any cost and the public being gullible enough to believe their empty promises.
  6. Indeed. Waiting is all most are able to do. Not me though, I'm not going to wait another year or more to be with the woman I love. US Citizens can visit the Philippines visa free for 30 days, and they can extend their stay up to 2 years. That should be enough time to walk through this whole process and enter the US together. Initially I thought this would go MUCH faster. As foolish as this might sound, I actually believed she would already have her visa by now after recently applying in June of this year. I leave the US on 12/30, slated to arrive in the Philippines on 12/31.
  7. What can a bunch of strangers do to bring national attention to this? Keep hearing the news talking about how recent changes to immigration in the last decade are causing major workforce issues in the US. If the stats are correct, coupled with declining birth rates and sperm counts, what will it take to elevate to a national security issue? If it were listed as such, this process we're all waiting on would get a lot more special attention, as would the rest of the immigration pool.
