  1. Sharing my timeline here as well. I-751: - Filed: September 14th 2021 - Biometric reuse: October 2021 Nothing since. N400: - Filed: September 13th 2021 - Biometric reuse and NOA: same day as filing - Interview notice: December 23rd, 2022 - Interview day: Feb 8th, 2023. Took my spouse with me to the interview and we got interviewed together first. Then I was interviewed alone for my pending N400. Received the decision couldn't be made notice because my file hadn't been transferred over so the officer was unable to review my I-751. It's been over two weeks now and no updates.
  2. Congrats! That's what I was told as well, and it's been two weeks. LIN didn't send my file either.
  3. It's been two weeks since my interview and no updates still. It's kind of mind boggling to pass the interview but them not adjudicating because somehow your file was not transferred in time for your interview. For reference, I applied in September 2022 with a pending I-751 (that I filed in September 2021). My I-751 was never transferred so come N400 interview time, the officer said they didn't have my A-file, although I did bring my spouse and we were interviewed together.
  4. I'm in the same boat as well. Interviewed last week, but the officer didn't even have my A-file with them. She interviewed my husband and I together first for the pending I-751, but then couldn't approve me because my file wasn't there and now I wait. I contacted USCIS through the online chat and an officer said the file has been requested to be sent to Philly (where I'm from, go birds!) but isn't there yet. The online officer didn't know how long that would take. So being a type A person, I sent an email to my congresswoman. Let's see what happens 😛
  5. I was proactive and took my spouse with me, they hadn’t requested he be there. When the officer called for me, I told her I had a pending I-751 and that my spouse is with me if she wants to interview us for that, she said sure. We walked in to her office and then she said “oh I don’t have your file.” But she did an I-751 interview anyway, jr was brief and simple.
  6. I filed my I-751 in September 2021. Fingerprints applied in October 2021; nothing has happened since. Filed for my N400 in September 2022, got my interview notice in December and did the interview last week. My I-751 was never transferred, and while the officer interviewed my spouse and I together first, she couldn't adjudicate on the I-751 since she didn't have the file. It's been a week to the day since my N400 interview, and no movement on either case. More waiting.
  7. Yeah they did a combo interview first. They had the I-751 application on the computer but not the whole file, and I guess they didn’t have the evidence scanned. No idea
  8. I'm in the same boat. Did my N400 interview 4 days ago, and the officer conducted a combo interview first but my file hadn't been transferred so she couldn't adjudicate. Let's see how long I'll end up waiting for my I-751 to be transferred from LIN.
  9. I hope so too. I haven't been lurking on these forums long enough to see if others have been in the same boat.
  10. No I didn't request a FOIA. It was a combo interview for the first part, as I mentioned in my post.
  11. Just finished my interview in Philly. Brought my husband w/ me. The officer said she didn't have my A-file, but she did a combo interview and asked for joint pictures, etc... which I had with me. She asked us how we met, where we live, etc... Then she did my N400 interview. Passed the civics and reading/writing questions. Went through the yes/no section and had to addend the part where I said I wasn't cited to add two traffic citations. She was very thorough, the interview took over an hour. At the end, got the paper with the "you passed but a decision cannot be made" and she said she has to wait for my A-file. So now more waiting.

  13. Tbh they’re no rhyme or reason to any of it. A friend of mine submitted their N400 the same week I did in September, they’re already a citizen while I’m waiting for my interview day. It’s frustrating but nothing to do but wait.
  14. I'm bringing him for sure. Just wasn't sure if there's a chance for them to adjudicate my I-751 then as well when the file has never been transferred to another office (seems to be a case update a lot of people get, and I haven't).
  15. I have my N400 interview coming up next Wednesday, and my I-751 is still stuck at "case was updated to show fingerprints were taken" since October 2021. If it never updates to it being moved to a different office for processing, do I assume they won't be able to adjudicate both cases in the same day? I'm taking my spouse w/ me anyway and telling them I have a pending I-751 to let him in, and will have extra evidence w/ me so it's not an issue, but I'm just wondering if the case being moved is sort of a prerequisite for the local USCIS office being able to act on it.
  16. So the way to get your spouse in is to tell the security officer you have a pending I-751? I wasn't sure how to go about it for when my interview comes (I, too, have a pending I-751, approaching day 500).
  17. Interview scheduled for 2/8/2023 - Philadelphia field office. I filed on 9/13/2022.
  18. 9/14/2021 - USCIS received the application; assigned to LIN. 10/28/2021 - biometrics applied. Since then, crickets. Filed N400 on 9/13/2022, biometrics applied the same day, and haven't had an update since then on that either. Philadelphia over here.
