  1. thanks guys. not sure with the correct term for the letter .maybe i was referring to explanation letter. yes im married.
  2. IR1 and i heard that we need to make a letter of intent?(not sure what the correct legal term) what's the correct format? i looked around the forum and mostly its all about the letter of intent to marry(k1) does it also needs to be notarized?
  3. Hello, I apologize if I've ended up in the wrong sub. I would like to know if anyone here has registered for the SLEC(St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic) online appointment. There was a part where it asked who gives the appointment (if I recall correctly). The options were: Embassy Online NVC I am part of the March 25, 2024 Auto Expedite. Many people say that we schedule our appointments on our own via CGI. So, should I choose 'online' instead of 'Embassy'? Also, who schedules the appointment on the CGI website, the Petitioner, or the Beneficiary? Also about the Letter of Intent since im living abroad with my beneficiary, does it needs to be notarized or not? thanks!
  4. thank you guys, i have another question. since i did not file any taxes. should i still upload transcript? i have transcripts due to stimulus. because it says incomplete if i dont provide one. i have already submitted my letter explaining my unemployment.
  5. thanks for the input guys, i have another question. in my 1-864 my kid is currently claimed by my mother(her grandma) on her taxes as dependent. so with my understanding since i did not file any taxes recently i just put 0 ?
  6. Good day, I would like to know what would be the good choice between the two? my Mom will be the intending joint sponsor since i do not meet the income requirement. she is a us citizen long time ago. we live in the same household. Dad did not work due to health issues so they do the married filling jointly. I did check the poverty guidelines and she is qualified for the sponsorship. Thank you in advance,.
  7. Hello. i just got approved(USC IR1 Spouse PH beneficiary) and still waiting for my welcome letter from NVC but I want to get ahead and prepare my self to fill up the forms. I'm not sure of this is the right section but my question is: I'm reading ahead about the DS-260 sample forms and I noticed some parts about spouse and children. My situation is I've been here staying in the Philippines since 2018 and living together with my wife and my child. my kid is already a US Citizen via CRBA and have US passport. I still have strong ties in the US(house, DL, banks etc). I Would like to know how to fill this up? is your spouse immigrating to the us with you? How should I answer this? should I answer NO? since me the petitioner is already a US citizen and will sure to travel with her along with my kid to the USA. is your child immigrating with you? How should I answer this? should I answer NO? since my kid is already a US Citizen and have US passport will sure to travel with us back to usa. thank you
