  1. Is something up with interview date data for k1? I see you have NOA2 wait has decr by almost 50% but interview is still 4-5months??? It says Oct NOA1 filers are interviewing on ave now, I'm in Oct filer group and majority I know have already been in US for months. Are people just not entering data after NOA2 or is it dominated by slow embassys (canada and aus etc)?
  2. as long as your interview is scheduled 2weeks+ from ready date just say you received letter. London letter famously goes missing/ takes weeks to show up
  3. yup, i believe phillipines is maybe 1-2 months for interview so should have VOH in under a yr as long as nothing hits a snag As to what to do, I would find groups for Philippine beneficeries or watch guides on YT. Phillipines account for like 50% of k1 applicants so should be a lot out there
  4. they just took my word for it that i had it as a kid
  5. just to be clear, this is USCIS stage and is same for all beneficeries. After this is NVC (one month) then embassy which varies greatly from weeks to months.
  6. I was a student as well (although beneficiary). I would put down student or NA. As another user said, they won't look at job/income yet. It's not a requirement at uscis stage. Job history is actually to run background checks on both of you, not to assess your worth.
  7. try emma chatbot. Your NOA1 is bouncing back to post office each time. Try talking to post office on why you may not be recieving mail too
  8. country of beneficiary does not affect speed of approval, only affects steps from NVC on. You can click on a users timeline to see how long it took, seems took them a year but I know many who now get it in 9months
  9. South Africa is honestly the same with a lot of documents but there are third part services that can get documents within weeks if not days for a fee (I assume bribery/ buddies at work). It may be worth seeing if a similar (reliable) service exists in Cuba? The fact the recommend trying to get someone to request locally for you does imply it will be faster with a direct service.
  10. Did they mark on your vaccination sheet that req was waived for covid or complete? glad was smooth. Polio is a new-ish req. UK is a hotspot so required to have a booster within last 2yrs. I think tetnus is req if you haven't had one in last 10
  11. I believe one dose is acceptable for k1, I'm not even sure if one is required now honestly. As you say, will be for AOS. Unfortunately if it is available in thailand, they won't give a waiver. Does the clinic you'll do your medical at provide vaccines? If there's a way to contact the clinic, it's worth asking if there are any vaccine req for K visa.
  12. did your status update on uscis? You usually go into transit 3-5 weeks after NOA2 so petitioner should have had it in mail by now. I would contact uscis to get a replacement if not because you'll need it for aos
  13. I did say in my message if unavailable it will be waived. I haven't kept up to date on whether private clinics or medical plan to start stocking the vaccine. I assume not but I also don't know 100% I got mine in US 6months before my medical and also had medical couple days before rule change so never had to find out
  14. official guidelines are you need a booster within last 12months. It went into affect end Nov I think. If a clinic isn't up to date on guidance, that doesn't make it fact. It's true that it will be waived if unavailable though (as it is in uk)
  15. They usually only add a month at a time, you're prob in their weird slump before they put the next month up. I don't follow closely but I feel like they usually put more about around nvc transit windows, so next week if not this one. They should put at least all of feb up if not a few march
  16. monday was a holiday, is it issued now? London isn't usually that slow and I'd expect you were issued Tues?
  17. To clarify he doesn't have to live with you for the spousal, many don't. He's actually required to have US domicile and salary to do a spousal with you. I personally didn't go for that due to wait time + living apart from my husband but each to their own
  18. you can apply for both, I did. You'll almost guaranteed hear back fro k1 before DV but you can have both going same time. I imagine if you by chance win DV, you can just decline K1 will likely take 8-10months for you unless you're one of the small % who end up with a few month slower timeline. You can do a spousal to US instead which I believe takes 1-2yrs on ave. It's called a CR1
  19. US immigration rules don't care what your country's medical opinion or system is. Just because the UK doesn't think COVID vaccines are important doesn't mean US stops requiring them. I am unsure if COVID vaccine is available privately in UK, if clinic doesn't have they should give you a waiver for 'vaccine not routinely available' so your immigration shouldn't be hampered.
  20. There's nothing in there that isn't on their website so not sure why it really matters
  21. i applied when ready, as long as it's two weeks from your ready status you should be fine Mine was ready 26 oct, letter sent 8th nov and arrived 13 nov I didn't wait for it
  22. questions were super basic and always seem to be for london, i'll post a review incl info in a minute honestly only time they go beyond 'how'd you meet, who proposed' etc is if there's a criminal history or divorce, they may quiz you a little to confirm you know about the petitioner's history but this is for your safety, it's not an attempt to deny you. I submitted DS-160 and booked interview when at ready status. They do seem to take awhile to send the letter, I think I was ready 26th Oct, letter sent 8th Nov and arrived 13th Nov. So if I'd booked an interview before 8th Nov, they prob would have cancelled it. Just always make sure you book 2weeks+ from ready date
