If they're unsure what you've had, you can just get them again. It won't cause any harm, just an expense. Sadly missing vaccine records are not uncommon I'm finding

Yeah so they can request that then, I didn't disagree with you but then why don't people suggest how to do that instead of berating about lost boarding pass or meeting again? I've never had to pull those records anywhere but US so I have zero experience and wasn't sure if they're accessible in every country

I've seen people get RFEs for meeting req and everything you have + itinerary are options listed as proof along with boarding passes and forms such as I-94. No where do they say you must have undeniable proof of meeting. It's about convincing the officer you met. No one can say for sure exactly how much it takes to convince them but a boarding pass is 100% not a requirement, it's just stronger evidence

Then why don't they just do that for Mexico? I've asked for a stamp, as did they and have been denied

I also don't get passport stamps when I travel and nor does my bf. Stamps are not common anymore. I travel internationally a couple times a yr and only two countries give me a stamp or proof of entry.

I haven't seen that as a requirement. What if you drive to meet cause they're only in Canada/Mexico?? I've seen people been approved without including boarding passes. Not everyone meets with intention to file and therefore starts storing evidence. Will their case be less reliable? Yes. Does it mean they have zero evidence? No. It's not a court, they just need to convince the officer they'd met. Worst case they get an RFE for meeting evidence but it's unlikely. I can get a boarding pass without boarding the plane.

maybe they're leaving too many in the 'tail'?? I think a lot are still getting theirs at abut 15-15.5months which could skew it even though some get it at 13-14

yeah that's what I read it as too. Seen as they're estimated to hit about 12months by end of fiscal yr, they're not miles off (considering they were projected at start of fiscal to be at 20-24 months by end of fiscal yr )

can you request an itinerary or ask them a way you can obtain it? I assume you have your booking code or similar reference number? It is weird they never emailed you the itinerary with flight times and such. It's not uncommon to need that info, my dad has to show when he was out of country and how long and purpose as he's on indefinite leave to remain (like a greencard) and he travels a lot for business. The record of you booking in more detail exists somewhere, I'm sure it can be provided or found online. I just included my itineraries instead of boarding passes as I only use digital. Honestly, I think your partners boarding passes + proof of your presence in mexico (your card + photos + airbnb and whatever else) should suffice. Like theoretically not all LDRs fly to meet up so not everyone has boarding passes to prove they were together, they are prob the most straight forward evidence though.

yeah honestly I follow the data and this 16.5month processing time, even if it is the *past* 6 months still doesn't track for me but all data points to it decreasing to about 12months by Oct 2023 unless they slow down/speed up in the daily numbers. Obv there is a wide band of approvals, so 12months is prob approx earliest start (so maybe a few early but main focus around 12months with some later)

I think I heard of one but was due to disabilities of petitioner preventing them travelling and US was locked down to tourists. Hearsay though. Agree though 2year rules is *very* strict and 'it's too expensive' is not a valid reason. USCIS doesn't care unless you are *physically* incapable of meeting again. This isn't the case as there's a ticket, expensive but it's an option and you can also meet in a third country or you can wait. USCIS *really* doesn't care if it's inconvenient for you, it's difficult for many people here both logistically and financially. It's almost 1.5yrs to hear back from USCIS, do you really want to wait 1.5yrs to hear if they accept your excuse? It's better to wait until you can meet and then file.

Okay i just can't read a big spreadsheet on my phone. It says 78 and 70 TERMINAL cases for oct and nov respectively so doesn't include RFEs which I think USCIS does for processed????? I'm not sure what % touched cases are. RFEs? Meant to say untouched??? Unsure

Okay unsure who's right now. I thought I'd imagined it but fb group has pending for oct 4.71%, nov ~11% and dec just under 20%. That's only California but didn't think there were *that* many at vermont etc???

I'm hoping normal processing will come down to 12-13 months for me so even if I'm left behind it's still like 15-16 months which isn't great but still manageable

I'll try. My understanding is that in x time (here 16.5 months) they will have processed 80% of cases. Doesn't matter if most were done sooner, it matters how long it took them to hit 80%. So... Let's say there's 100 cases in a month, 80 of those cases will have heard from USCIS *within* 16.5months. That may mean they heard one week after applying, may mean they heard 16.5 months after applying but by 16.5month mark 80 of them should have heard something while 20 haven't Although it's *at least* 80% so if for some reason they approved a big batch at same time they crossed 80 threshold, they may be over 80%

They're included but it's basically how many months until they hit 80%. Doesn't matter if they did 70% in 6 months, if that last 10% took 16 months, the number would be 16 months

Can't screenshot it seems but both Oct and nov haven't hit 80%. I assume past months were also just short of 80% at 16 months
