  1. I'm always confused when people say it's removed unless they mean another. I know a member was saying it was removed a month or two ago only for it to be linked in a recent report/news 🤣
  2. also I do not understand when people lose their damn minds when they see approvals in later months (like march). All that really matters is where 'activity' is. Even if the odd one gets approved "early" it's not going to affect your case and obsessing will only lead to upset. We are at USCIS's will sadly. Also saw my timeline has gone from late Jan to early Jan!! A month ago it was in feb. Zooooom! Bf or rather fiance and I officially got engaged this week (we did K1 early cause wait time) and tell family Saturday, excited!!
  3. honestly some people will be happy with nothing. I see the same on fb as y'all mentioned earlier. Some people just want to feel like a victim or wronged. I do understand being impatient etc but some take it to a new level. I do laugh every time someone says we should sue USCIS
  4. remember you have 6months after medical to use the K1 so you can 'delay' it if needed
  5. Yeah maybe they'll go back and clean them up. Could any of these be cases transferred to vermont? I know that's a longer process usually
  6. Could also be people not meeting 2yr meeting req if they're RFEs for instance as @Obllaksaid.. I've seen quite a lot of people surprised that COVID was not accepted as a reason to ignore the 2yr rule. USCIS will send an RFE to give you a chance to prove you met the req. People may have given up realising they didn't have the evidence needed. I have no idea how long they hold a document for. I've seen 'held for 180 days' pop up with no idea what it refers too. Maybe that's the window before it's dumped? Maybe they're just not going back to confirm they need deletion as they're overworked so not a priority? USCIS remains a mystery
  7. They have been starting the next month at about 50% then shifting focus at 80% so you can kind of guess if you know how many applications they got for that month but as numbers vary a bit from month to month it's difficult to say x days every month until they move on
  8. Oh checked mine and it's now mid Jan (earliest) instead of late Jan 😍
  9. What has USCIS done to us that we're celebrating a dent? 😂 I'm 100% with you though
  10. Yeah that's where I saw the first 500 in the scan include December and the 10 approvals are from the first 500 range I believe
  11. Actually unsure if they've really started Jan? Scanner said the first 500 range covers dec too so they could be late Dec instead of early Jan
  12. Ah I'm uk as well, you should be able to pick your medical and interview dates yourself. It'll depend on availability though
  13. it depends on your embassy, you may be better of asking in your local forum
  14. I'd say decent. They're running their scan over every data period rather than others who do one month or a few months. Only question is if how they're calculating wait time is accurate. I think their wait time is either until all of x month is likely to be approved or somewhere in middle cause it's longer than what we see until they start a month and longer than myself and another predict despite having a smaller backlog. I can't remember their tag but they're around on the forum so will prob pop in to explain
  15. it's entirely embassy dependent. Would look at others with same embassy as you in timelines to see how long it took on ave
  16. Yeah I have no idea if NVC is the one who alerts USCIS to send when they know embassy is ready or the NVC holds it if they know embassy is backlogged. ie not sure if it pauses at USCIS or NVC for busy embassies.. Maybe it's both. All UK people seem to have no issues at NVC/embassy stage at least
  17. It depends how long it takes USCIS to send to NVC. They don't always send it quickly, I saw it can take up to 90 days which seems insane. They say not to contact for 30 days
  18. Ah I was assuming NVC question was until you get case number. Embassy is def a different variable.
  19. To my knowledge still variable, they've def sped up from that 3month everyone seemed to be stuck at but can still be 1-3 months. Seems main variable is how long it takes USCIS to send it
  20. I would assume it's earliest date with a month or two approvals are spread over but so far he's been pretty spot on and it agrees with what a couple of us who follow the data are seeing. I can't imagine it slowing down without something drastic happening
  21. Did they need anything from you or did they fix it their end for you?
  22. I only have a venue picked because my bf has been married before but I'd always assumed I'd have a church wedding. To do that he'd have to sort annulment which takes 16 months. So I looked to see if I could picture myself getting married somewhere other than a church and just happened to find the perfect place. We're not going to book anything without a visa in hand but just want to go have a look to make sure it's for us and talk to them about diff options + when to book. They're a small-medium sized place run by a couple who are really into weddings, they even offer free ceremonies to help people get married in a budget so I'm actually curious if they'd let us book but move the date if needed with enough warning 😂 Doubt it though And as someone else said, mostly a way to pass the time... Not booking anything without a visa just excited
  23. Probably have a day at sign the papers and just spend the day together then have family and friends a few weeks/months later. Sadly I've moved so much I have few friends and family who can attend and his group is small too but should still be a special day Already have the venue and food picked out, going to look at venue in couple weeks hopefully to confirm
