  1. ah my apologies, I usually look on mobile so miss parts Makes sense it's higher than Jan though as focus is in Feb, moving to March slowly. Jan is basically done except for unfortunate 12% stragglers + RFEs
  2. I mean imagine you were the person processing, do you have good thoughts towards someone sending in a book worth of whatsapp messages when you're assigned like 40mins for an entire application 😂
  3. Q1 is finally out! Not great but we expected that as the speed up was end jan/ early feb so even Q2 may be a little sad. I agree with Lynx's estimate based on Q1, new apps would have had a 21month+ wait. I calculated 22-24months when I filed end Oct and there was a speed up just after bringing my estimate *slightly* down. We'll see what the Q2 says but data nerds have generally agreed it's coming down to 13-14months in near future, 12-13months late 2022 filers. As usual, this is under assumption their process doesn't change. (My VJ estimate is now latest, 1st jan 2024, almost in fully in 2023 🤞)
  4. Some embassy's may say they require COVID or such but you're correct, the K1 does not have the vaccinations requirements that an immigration visa does. The vaccination requirements need to be met at AOS stage but shouldn't need any (or at least less) for K1. Most people will get all their vaccines now so they don't have to redo their medical in the US before AOS but each case in unique so whatever works for the couple in question.
  5. do you mean Feb? Although I believe feb had more approvals than March. If the 12% is from the big spreadsheet, that includes expedites and previous rejections etc so it's not 12% this week. Feb would have been at a similar % when they started focusing. Jan is at ~67% done, 21% at RFE stage so they're actually 88% cases responded to which isn't bad. Feb is at ~53% but focus is still there, not March. General rule of thumb is they start a new month at 50% then move main focus at about 80%. So when feb hits 80% March should have the main focus of approvals. Wishing everyone speedy approvals!
  6. may be that they realise they don't have the proof in RFE (like meeting within 2yrs), given up, going a diff route, trying to obtain the evidence, delay in USCIS receiving??
  7. lowers chance of us being 'left behind' but imagine knowing you are that 1% who are waiting 💀
  8. yeah the % done isn't great but it looks like ~20% are RFEs which bring touched+completed cases to high 90's up to Jan so I'm feeling a lil more optimistic.
  9. on the plus side, looking at spreadsheet it looks like nearly all cases until Jan have at least been touched and Jan like 86% touched so it doesn't seem too bad except the handful that are really really unlucky and I still can't comprehend how USCIS can do that
  10. if you don't have the original letter, it should be on the website when you enter your number. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do Attached my result below as an example
  11. good to know ty! I assumed after looking a bit more that it does look like they're in March. Exciting 👀
  12. the best way to tell is your receipt number, the ranges are in date order so someone more experienced than me can tell what week a case was received/created by USCIS by the number. It's also why sometimes the start of a month scan may include the previous months (new months don't start on a monday always) and last week of a month's scan may incl the next's. So for instance, these March approvals in scan *could* be late Feb showing up in the early March scan (so 28 Feb and 1st March will be in the same scan range). Just depends how scanners set their scripts up. Either way, they've started March or are basically starting it any min. If your received date on the letter says Aug 15th then that's the date. Some people just use the Notice date on the letter, that's what VJ page says to use while users and scanners actually look at received date. My received date is 24th but my notice date is 27th 🤷‍♂️
  13. I'm curious if they're actually march... they sent it on 23rd Feb and NOA1 is only 2nd March??? Wondering if they're received date is actually end Feb. Some people put notice date, not received date. If anyone has seen a more concrete march approval I'll believe they're in march 😂 EDIT: Oh actually I see feb is ~50% and spreadsheet shows March slowly entering hot zone so nevermind, March it is 👀
  14. Also they seem to be 'graded' on how fast they process 80% and sometimes median (50%) so they seem to care less about the last 20%. Agree with the comment above, it does seem everyone is given a stack and then a new stack so just depends how fast one officer goes compared to another. They also had a MASS hiring so they have a lot of new staff that may be variable or going slower as they're new to it but they also have a bunch of experienced staff.
  15. When you send the RFE back may be worth adding a short cover letter explaining aging out K2 and previous approved expedite (as well as your calling plan) Also if it was a mistake (missing page) due to USCIS/NVC error, you're entitled to an expedite
  16. I agree with others, you'll be fine but always best to keep all evidence to show anyway! I see so many posts where people say they were denied for x or y then after more conversation it was actually a different reason. People don't tell you the whole story and you can never be 100% sure why they were denied unless it's obvious (like not meeting).
  17. Yeah I've lived in three countries, I'm unsure if I have ones on record from middle country but I've just been getting my UK ones added to my S. African ones. Just make sure you take a copy of your vaccinations for them to add to or put in one place! Sometimes they're a bit easy breezy about it and you need to specifically ask it get noted in your records. US does seem better at record keeping tho 😂 I just had a whole drama trying to get my COVID vaccination records cause apparently england -> scotland is a medical black hole
  18. The spreadsheet has backlog ahead of each month. No idea if numbers will improve further, could stay as is and they'll eventually be rid of backlog, we'll just have to see
  19. Is this the one that they're just opening and starting to hire for? Not sure if it'll affect us much sadly. It's also for humanitarian apps
  20. The place that does the medial for London embassy has a price list for their vaccines, here they're about same price as private, some more, some less. See if you can find yours? Can maybe email them and request to if you want? You can either get them before, if you can get any free may as well get em (doesn't matter if second time), get them at medical or you can get them in US but lord knows what cost is there off insurance. You won't need them until adjustment of status I think? Don't think K1 requires any vaccinations, would just mean a second medical in US after you have vaccinations.
  21. should hit 4500 for the month easy, wonder how close to 5k we'll manage 👀
  22. An aside but went from 5th to 3rd Jan for estimate today, almost fully in 2023!! 🤩
  23. It could be an issue with their system. I only look at weekly numbers for this reason. Daily numbers really don't mean anything unless they're consistently down.
