  1. This isn't uncommon at all and is nothing to be concerned about. My husband and I both applied for naturalization on the same day in October 2022. I had my interview and oath ceremony in January 2023. He waited until April 2023 for his interview and oath ceremony. I ended up chatting to the person in front of me in the line for my appointment and they also had the same experience, filed at the same time as their spouse but only he was called for interview and his wife was still waiting.
  2. In case anybody is interested my naturalization certificate arrived in the mailbox today, about 3 weeks after my passport arrived. They even sent it back in a large envelope so it's not been folded!
  3. You're being ridiculous. My husband and I applied for citizenship within 15 minutes of each other, I had my interview in January and became a citizen the same day, he has only just got his interview for mid April - almost 3 months behind me. It is what it is, complaining won't get you anywhere!
  4. I'm not panicking, I was just curious how long other people who have applied recently have been waiting!
  5. No sign of my naturalization certificate yet - how long is it taking for other people to get theirs back?
  6. Strange, any more progress today? My passport book arrived today (still waiting for the card and citizenship certificate to arrive but I'm sure they'll turn up in a week or so) 1/31 Applied at USPS 2/3 Application received according to the status website 2/6 Check cashed 2/7 Shows as in process on the status website 2/14 Shows as Approved on the website 2/15 Shipped 2/16 Arrived via USPS
  7. 1/31 Applied at USPS 2/3 Application received according to the status website 2/6 Check cashed 2/7 Shows as in process on the status website 2/14 Shows as Approved on the website
  8. They changed the expedited service processing time to 5-7 weeks yesterday...
  9. I also applied for a passport last week (Expedited, 1-2 day delivery) 1/31 Applied at USPS 2/3 Application received according to the status website 2/6 Check cashed 2/7 Shows as in process on the status website Locator 53 like @Catseal so will be very interesting to see how similar our timelines are.
  10. I mean they can't deny you entry as a US Citizen but it probably won't be much fun...
  11. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough... It looks like you've been a permanent resident since 2013 if your signature is correct. If this is the case then (paraphrasing a bit) you should choose the "I've been a lawful permanent resident for 5 years" option rather than the "I've been a lawful permanent resident for 3 years and married to a US citizen" option for your eligibility - if you choose the 3 year option you'll have to provide documentation to prove your marriage is genuine which you could avoid entirely if you go the 5 year route.
  12. Don't file under the 3 year rule if you're eligible under the 5 year rule - it means you'll have to provide a load more paperwork that's not necessary!
