  1. Do you know if My PD is from Oct 2021, and I have interview May 24th, it still should be good?
  2. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with USCIS, it's way easier with NVC. I think I sent request Dec 22nd through the inquiry form, and January 3rd we were in the new consulate. When we were sending request, we attached his passport picture, and the birth certificate. Montreal is really bad. I heard even for K-1 visasa.
  3. Hey! We don't live in Paris. We reside in Canada, but when I asked NVC if we can transfer to Paris based on my husband's French citizenship, they said yes. And just asked for proof of his passport. Took us only a week, the whole process, from e-mailing NVC to getting switched to a new consulate. However, we lost our DQ date from Montreal, and DQ changed to the new date, when we switched consulates. Hopefully, it will be helpful for you.
  4. Do you know if blood test with the proof of immunity is enough for the immigration panel physician? We are from Canada, and did our test in Canada, but going for the medical in Portugal. Not sure if they might accept it.
  5. Yes, sorry! just realized that. It's the same day as Natasha. May 24th. I hope you will get your PD soon!
  6. Hiiii ! Would really appreciate, if smb could help me with the following questions. Originally, we DQ through Montreal, but transferred to Paris embassy and were able to get our interview way sooner. Have couple of questions, if smb could answer. 1) our interview is on May 24th, but the closest medical appt we were able to get was May 17th. In your opinion, is it enough time for the embassy to get our medical results. 2) both of us have 2 citizenships, and we provided both passports to NVC. My husband is going to use his French passport, since the interview is in Paris. However, I have Ukrainian and Canadian. If I give my Canadian, I won't be able to get back to Canada, in case it will take them some time to get our medicals or in case they will send it for administrative processing. Do you think I can leave my Ukraininan passport in the embassy? Like, what are the rules, if you apply with both citizenships. 3) Since filling out DS-260, we have travelled extensivelly to the US, do we have to update our travel section in DS-260? It is locked on the CEAC site. 4) Do I have to provide vaccines for HEP B during medical, or I could just use the blood test, that I am immune. Thanks again, if somebody hs answers=)
  7. Thank you!! What time is yours? Ours is at 8.30am
  8. So, we’ve been waiting since Jan 05, when we got DQ. I found smb with EB, who waited for 4 months until the interview.. he got DQ in October and got an e-mail beginning of March. So, apparently, they are sending interviews only in the beginning of each month. So, hopefully in April or May we will get an invite..
  9. Question about the Visa Bulletin Priority Date. According to NVC, our Priority Date is 05-OCT-21, but when I checked the visa bulletin, it shows that for Eb-2 category, priority date is 01Dec2022. In summer it was sitting at Current status, but this fall they changed from C to 01Nov2022 and this month it went to 01Dec22. My question is, based on which date the interview is being scheduled now? Does it mean, we are still current? Really hoping to get an answer...
  10. Exactly. There is nowhere to find official timeline on the cases. Some embassies give at least approximate times, but not Paris.
  11. Oh, thanks for this advice. Will try to call embassy tmr or send them an-email! Will keep you posted)
  12. Yeah, they sent us an e-mail on the 12th saying that we are just waiting for the interview date. yesterday they sent another 2month e-mail, that they didn't forget about us. I saw on this forum, that it was 6-7 weeks waiting for Eb visa interviews in summer. you don't have French citizenship, or it's based on where you were born? Do you know when it's going to get current?
  13. Hey! no, from now on, it will show only where it is located, like in NVC, until it leaves for the embassy.. We still haven't received our interview. Looks like spouse visas are only 1 month wait..
  14. There is an NVC inquiry form, which you use to contact NVC, all requests are made through it. You just send request there and attach the proof, why you are allowed to switch. I don't think you can switch consulates when your docs are not at NVC stage yet. All your docs have to be accepted by NVC first. Not sure about USCIS...
  15. I rmb, it was a bit weird, cause the website was showing one address and the e-mail instructions were giving a totally different one. I think we mailed everything to the one, given in the welcome letter.
  16. still no news on our interview date, unfortunately... WE sent documents after we filled out DS260. Not sure what are the rules about that. I think it took us around a month to hear back, because we had to send an additional document.
  17. yes. It ws at NVC. But it doesn't take too long. May be it's better to wait till NVC, I don't think it really matters at NOA2 stage...which consulate, until all your docs are at NVC..
  18. Since there is not much information on the timeline for the interviews in Paris for Eb visas, would like to start a thread here. DQ September 27 for Montreal consulate, but our case was transferred to Paris embassy January 5th. Waiting for the interview....
