  1. Thank you! My concern is with the amount of mistakes/changes and whether that would be an issue. Any thoughts?
  2. Hey everyone, I have my interview in about 3 weeks and noticed last week a few mistakes on my DS260 that our attorney says are immaterial (honestly forgetting to include something, misunderstandings, etc), but to make a list and bring to the interview for correction/addition. I’m wondering if others have been in this situation too, and how the interview went with bringing in a few corrections needed? Thanks!
  3. Any idea when Montreal consulate might respond to an email from an attorney?
  4. They haven’t sent out interview letters for April yet, have they?
  5. Have you guys heard if February interview letters have been sent out yet?
  6. You are very kind, thanks! That is our hope as well, that we’ve got some attention now and will be scheduled soon 🤞🏻
  7. Thanks 🙂 USC spouse is in USA, myself and our 4 kids are waiting in Canada.
  8. We had good reason to expedite, aside from NVC delay - USC spouse will soon be working on a high profile non-disclosure govt project, and his employer provided us with a letter of support for the expedite. Still denied.
  9. Hi guys, we are pretty desperate for answers to our situation. Were any of you skipped over for an interview letter? We were DQ Sept 28, 2023 and so far nothing. According to the “first-in, first-out” scheduling policy at NVC, we should have received an interview letter in December. People with DQ’s in December have interviews scheduled already, so clearly they don’t go in strict order. Some people are getting their letters one month after DQ, we are at five! Submitted a public inquiry early Jan, received the standard “you’re in queue and we will schedule an interview when a date is available.” Submitted congressional inquiry as well as an expedite request two weeks ago through congressman’s office, denied. Our attorney says we’re now at the mercy of the US immigration system, and not to contact NVC/consulate for a while as it may delay our case, especially after an expedite denial. He also said it’s 3-5 months between DQ and interview at Montreal and he doesn’t see a reason why our case should be different. We’re sitting at hopefully 7 months at the moment. We are a very straightforward, no issues case. Children are US citizens. If we don’t get an interview letter this month I may lose my mind. We have 4 children and we are sitting in limbo. Please, has anyone had this happen or heard of cases like this? We’ve been skipped twice.
  10. Anyone else hoping for a February IL? We are DQ Sept 28.
  11. I see on Reddit that some people received their interview letters last night for March dates. Has anyone here received theirs? Been waiting since our DQ of Sept 28, we have a congressional inquiry submitted as well. It's been 1.5 years total now, we have 4 kids all US citizens through my husband - we are so distressed. Does anyone know if they send IL's all at once, or if they roll out over a matter of hours? Just checked status on CEAC and it still says "at NVC".
  12. Did anyone else not get an interview letter today that should have? We are very disheartened. Sept 28 DQ, we should have been first in line right?
  13. I'm so glad so many are receiving their IL! We were DQ Sept 28 and haven't received an IL today yet... getting anxious. I hope we weren't forgotten!
