  1. Usually on the letter they gave her should be instructions on how to proceed.
  2. What document did they request from her? What kind of visa is this? Did she submit DS160 or DS260?
  3. Is there some sort of aging out protection? For example if they file for him with USCIS and he gets approved before turning 21, does that mean he is safe? Or he has to finish NVC and Embassy stages while still under 21?
  4. I understand. However they are not in the US yet. They have an interview date coming in the next couple of weeks. I am trying to understand the age stage limit.
  5. Hello everyone and Happy Easter, From what I understand, there is a visa category for Permanent Residents to file for their unmarried kids who are under 21. My question is, should the kids be under 21 at the time of the visa issuing? Should they be under 21 when the I-130 is approved? I am asking for my parents in case they want to file for my brother who is now 19. Given there is 2 years until he will be 21. Not sure at what stage the age is considered a qualifying factor. Thank you
  6. I sent 1 email for both cases. I wrote the 2 case numbers in the email and explained the situation. My request was based on humanitarian reasons. If you think you have grounds to expedite, it doesn't hurt to try. Good luck.
  7. Responded to RFI on 3/14th. Just received DQ email now 3/28.
  8. Check with the Lebanese embassy in Manila. Maybe they can assist. If not, you can hire a lawyer in Lebanon and hey can get it for you. It will cost you few hundred dollars but it is worth it since it is needed.
  9. Original submission was February 25th. RFE received on March 13th. Responded to RFE on March 14th.
  10. Responded to RFE - Submitted documents (which NVC already had) on 3/14/2023.
  11. Submitted: 2/25th DQ: 3/13th I submitted 2 cases - 1st case was approved, the 2nd case NVC is requesting a document that I already submitted. They marked as "Invalid Document" I will send again.
  12. Hello everyone, I submitted all the documents on February 25th. All the tabs shows "Submitted". However, when I check the status on CEAC, I see the message below "Action required: Submit requested documents" is that normal?
  13. If the petitioner filed a separate I-130 for their siblings and got approved, can he request the NVC or embassy to expedite the siblings cases or issue them visas to immigrate with the parents? Thanks.
  14. Hello everyone, I have 2 cases at NVC for my parents, I submitted all the required documents and paid the fees. 2 days after that I requested an expedite from NVC and provided the supporting documents. NVC responded that the expedite request has been approved as below. My question is that does this also expedite the processing at NVC (reviewing the affidavit of support + DS260) or just expedite the process at the embassy once they receive the case from NVC? Thank you
  15. Hello folks, I have couple of questions that I was hoping to find some answers: I am a naturalized US citizen. Filed two I-130 for my mother and her husband. Got approved by USCIS and now at NVC. I paid all the fees and now I must submit the AOD and complete the DS260.0 Should I use form I-864 or I-864EZ? My income from my fulltime meets and exceeds the poverty guidelines. Should I fill and upload 2 AOS forms? One for each parent since they are on separate visa petitions? On form I-864 - "Part 2. Information About the Principal Immigrant" Do I enter the name of each parent only on their AOS document? Should I mention both their name on both forms? I have my tax transcripts for the last 3 years. Will I need anything more? I am filling the I-864 Pdf version. The physical address of the sponsor (me) and employment section is greyed out. Is that normal? Thank you in advance.
