  1. Never mind.....I tried on a different device and it let me in.
  2. Sooooo I just received my NVC welcome email and I know it says "your case can take up to 3 days to be activated" but of course I tried logging in anyway. When I do that, I get an application error - did anyone else have this issue? Do I just need to wait until my case is activated? Is this just another "hurry up and wait" tactic in this endless sea of immigration steps? I feel like a hamster on a wheel 😝
  3. How did the NVC process go? Any tips or tricks you can share?
  4. I'm so sorry this is happening.....to wait that long only to get an RFE is beyond frustrating. Since you've waited this long, it may not take them long to do another review before approval. I would send that letter ASAP and hope for the best. Good luck!
  5. For those of you who have already uploaded your documents to NVC, what words of wisdom can you give those of us who are stressing out about it? Do they tell you exactly which documents are needed? Do you have to upload both sides (even blank pages)? Do you need to upload passport photos? Evidence such as photos, airline tickets, etc.? I haven’t been able to find a concise list of documents that I will need to have ready. It would be helpful if you shared your experience.
  6. 379 for me....exactly 12 months + 2 weeks. Even though I was approved yesterday, my official approval date was today (they forward dated it ??). I'm also curious to see what will be @davidtech's approval date.
  7. Thank you!! It took us exactly 12-1/2 months to get approved. I've been seeing that timeframe in most of the processing centers so yours should be coming up very soon! Good luck - I hope you get news soon - it's an incredible sense of relief - I feel like I can breathe now LOL.
  8. I’ve never met a cake I didn’t like 😊 You better believe I would’ve hunted you down….with as much vigor as I’ve put into cracking the USCIS mystery without actually having to work there. Screw up my petition? I prevented that from happening by uploading 95 unsolicited docs to my USCIS account….those people even know what I had for dinner last night! 😂 Cake is in the mail Bill 😁
  9. Are you up for some cake?? Guess what? Okay, I won't play guessing games.....we just got approved!! As usual, I was doing crazy things like checking the statuses of 10 cases before mine and 10 cases after and saw that one was in active review as of tomorrow (yes, it has tomorrow's date on it) and then realized that case was mine!! So I logged in and there was the approval document - I swear I checked it about 20 times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. Your prediction was spot-on. I hope you know how much I appreciate all of your support and humor during this awful process....it kept me hopeful and focused and I truly thank you, my friend! My timeline: NOA1/PD: 02/14/2022 Nebraska transferred to California Active Review: 03/16/2022 I130 Approved: 02/28/2023 😍
  10. Thank you but I don’t need luck….I’ve got this!! The cake is in the oven as we speak 🎂
  11. .....because you went for that walk.....science at work there my friend
  12. So are you saying if I go for a walk my case will be approved when I get back? Asking for a friend 🤣
  13. It doesn't matter why you're on the battlefield....take out your weapons and start fighting. Everything has a beginning and an end. If you choose to fight, you choose to win. There will be cake and ice cream for everyone....and wine.....there will be wine!! 🍷
  14. You’re so sweet, thank you so much for lifting my spirits each and every time I’ve lost hope. I miss our techy talks about how we’re going to beat this system and just so you know, I have a big red “Visa Journey Partay” marked on my calendar on March 1st because you said I’d get approved right before then. I’m holding you to that hahaha 😝 Keep us posted on the NVC part….you are going to be our guide for the next part of this quagmire. Have a great weekend!!
  15. Should be soon…I’ve heard from several people who said it took on average about 5 days to get that letter. In the meantime here I sit still waiting on USCIS 😭😭
  16. Welcome to our group! I was in the same situation with my husband, who lives in Colombia. His passport was getting ready to expire about 8 months after we filed the I-130. I had him renew it and send me a picture of the first page and I uploaded that to my USCIS account under Unsolicited Evidence but you can classify it as an Identity/Travel Document. You should probably have your wife renew her passport now since you have enough time rather than waiting until your I-130 is ready to be approved.
  17. Welcome to our little club! I think we all get to the point of losing patience but we’ve been keeping each other uplifted and positive. Quite a few of us have gotten approved lately so I have hope that we’ll be celebrating soon as well. My PD was February 14th and the approvals lately have been from early February priority dates so our turn is coming soon.
  18. You got it my friend….I’m putting March 1st on my calendar! There will be much celebrating 🥳
  19. Congratulations!! You guys are making me feel left out….we all want to join the party!! Good for you I’m sure you’re so relieved. Don’t worry about NVC….nothing can be as bad as USCIS. I think the worst is over.
  20. You see how it pays off to be neurotic? I knew I wasn't doing all that work for nothing....you've just solidified it for me. You've also saved me from having to go work for USCIS - my family thanks you for that as well. 😂😂😂
  21. You've given me so much hope! My VJ estimate went down as well. My PD is 9 days after yours so I'm hoping an approval is right around the corner! Did you get notified by email or one of the apps that notifies you?
