  1. What is the average receipt notice time you have seen here? Have you sent anything to the USCIS lately? Even on Reddit not many who are posting got receipt notices in the stipulated 30 day time frame. Last year, my EAD expired in September. I sent my renewal packet in February, got a notice(after Congress person intervention) it was sent to Nebraska in June! Then got another notice it was returned to Vermont. No receipt notice from VSC till August. August, I got HRs notice requesting my renewed docs. I called and expidited-NOTHING! Thankfully, HR was kind to me and found a way to extend my authorization without the documents. It was 2 weeks after my EAD expired that USCIS responded to my expedite request and issued my 5 yr EAD. NOONE cared if I lost my means of livelihood or suffered trauma from the uncertainty of the whole process. I will advice even my enemy to send early. But hey, I'm not an expert, just speaking from a recent traumatic experience.
  2. Any news? I was in your shoes last year. HR gave me an extension after I provided receipt notice, congress person correspondence and case update. Also, I think someone here said it's an automatic extension for renewal. USCIS sent my EAD end of the month after it had expired! I was living cautiously between when my documents expired and when I renewed them! My prayers are up for favorable outcomes for you.
  3. I suffered my things last year. Please send packet next month. Reason, it will likely (from current trends) take 2-3 months to get receipt notice then add processing time. To give yourself peace of mind, send very early.
  4. Auto renewal isn't auto. You have to have a receipt notice for the renewal document you sent. Even then, you are still at the mercy of HR. They are not obligated by law to extend your employment. It helps to know this when speaking with HR if there's a delay. I was today year's old when I discovered this.:)
  5. I got an extension till 2025.. So I'm now realizing more and more that I experienced a miracle!
  6. I don't have an extension slip. HR found a clause that extended my EAD. I don't even know what the clause is. Tbh, I don't care for the details, just thankful to legally have a job. My license is expired. I'm currently Uber-ing. A small price to pay..
  7. Submit to Vermont. I sent letters to both VSC and Lee's Summit. The response I got was from the VSC. To be safe, you can send to both.
  8. You won't go thru the same torment I did. That is my prayer for you!
  9. Hey Karman, hope you are holding up ok. Hi Everyone, I'm here to say thank you Jesus. I have seen a miracle with my own eyes. Won't go into details but long story short- my EAD expired Sept 20th. I had started my renewal process in February! Countless letters and calls to our friends at the USCIS, even congressman, no response. I was on the brink of insanity as I can not afford to lose my job. The miracle is I didn't lose my job, HR found a clause that enabled me to keep working without a renewed EAD. Randomly checked my case status today and saw new card being produced for my EAD. Note to TBone- jokes work. They really do!
  10. Hi Everyone, got my receipt notice today and spoke to a tier one officer in order to expedite my EAD. Waiting for more goodnews :).
  11. Be thankful my friend. I am looking at your log and all I see is progress. I submitted I-765 renewal documents in February and I have not received any receipt notice. I have contacted my local House member- no response from USCIS. Current card expires in two months. Don't get me wrong, your feelings are valid and I understand that this process affects us in different ways. I just always smile when I see progress in posts but the Author doesn't . Be of good cheer, you will hear goodnews..
