  1. Hi @ALC and friends, My question is related as i got a 221 g due to my kid not vaccinated against covid, so visa officer asked us to submit passport and medical which we did. Wanted to inquire what's the approximate wait time for the passport to get back after visa stamping? my medical expiring in 2 months so wanted to make sure its received before that. Regards, R
  2. this is brilliant - thanks a bunch, appreciate you digging this information
  3. That's an encouraging news. but would be retrospective if my medical is submitted before May 11? even thou my interview date is May 30th.
  4. Yes - that's what they told me too. But they also mentioned that Visa officer can see the status of the kids medical through system, but the hospital won't be able to submit partial report. But how does that impact your case hearing? I can't leave my passport that long as i have travels so does it mean visa will be refused and will be asked to reschedule? or possibly AP?
  5. Hi Team - Need help on the covid vaccine for my toddler who is 2.5 years old. We went to Dr. Lyndon for medical and he said he cannot submit daughter medical as she doesn't have the covid vaccine. We can get her 1 dose now but it won't be possible to get both before the interview i.e., scheduled for end of May. From this groups experience, can anyone pls share what the normal practice that visa officer follow in this case? do they reject the case and ask to re schedule when covid vaccine is done, or you can show them appointment for 2nd dose and hope they approve it? any help will be much appreciated. Best Regards,
  6. One more thing, generally how long do they take to return the passports? I have travel plans 10 days after my interview so thinking if i should change my flights or keep as is.
  7. Hi All, Just got my IL today morning, for May end interview date. Glad to see the end in sight. I have a quick question for the experts, thanks in advance for the guidance. 1- can i pick the medical date myself or its more on the available slots at the doctor? I am thinking to do medical 2 weeks prior to appointment as i believe the visa stamp is 6 months from the day of medical. so that gives me some more time to plan my landing. Also I am based in toronto and there are a few options to get the medical done, any preferred one based on personal experience? 2- I have my covid vaccine proof, but know that I have done all vaccinations back home incl Hep A,B. Should I just reach out to my family doctor for the antibody test? would this antibody test cover everything or are there some specific tests i need to get done? RCMP should be fairly quick so I am not worried about that but still any watch outs here ? Thanks and good luck to all waiting for their ILs. Best,
  8. Still nothing, my employer requested expedite in February, but it was rejected, saying they cannot expedite it, followed by a standard response.
  9. Thanks, will ask my petitioner to send an email.
  10. Hi Everyone, New to this tracker. I am an EB3, ROW changeability with current priority date waiting for my interview at MTL. Q: I am a consultant for a healthcare organization, does that qualify me for the expedited request? I am currently a Canadian citizen. Thanks so much for guidance.
