Just put the same address as you plan to use for green card delivery. Doesn't matter for the medical

You need to have an US address for them to have an address to send the green card. It doesn't need to be the one you intend to live at. Do you have a friend or family members house that you could get your green card mailed to on your behalf?

You can go to either. They will accept both. I emailed them and I think they replied the next day.

Yup! They will add anything to your file or update anything. Just make sure you have copies of everything for them!

You can work in a Canadian company. However you will have to pay taxes in America as you are an American resident, it can get quite complicated. You also won't have healthcare etc. So worth considering

You can just change that on the day. The first window you go to is to check and update your documents, addresses etc. If you still have your old passport I would bring it also. But I don't imagine they would need it.

Probably 10 business days from today will be the official line. Really hoping they all get mailed out today though. You have to just check the ceac to see when it get issued.

We went to lyndon. Honestly of all the reviews there seems to be no preference. Just go with whatever location works best. We were in and out in 10 minutes. X ray and bloods took longer. Some people have went to the US for the covid vaccine. The new one should be out very soon so just sign up for any wait list you can.

From what I've heard everyone on the 7th October has had their date rescheduled due to a planned protest about isreal in Montreal and I assume for safety reasons.

These are not the November dates. These are people that received letters in August for October dates but montreal have changed the dates of some of them.

Someone in the ir/cr1 also got a similar letter this morning of a date change. I dont know what it means and which date is the real one. Best to email them.

Our status has just been updated to 'refused' even though we were told we were approved on the 9th.....

Which eb are you? The priority date for some of the eb classes may take multiple years. You may want to stay in the queue and then adjust further down the line. If eb2 row continues to have the same number of people apply it could rocket to 5-10 years to become current.

Ir/cr are not under any visa number capacity. They can issue an unlimited number. So the financial year does not affect that. So far the ir1/cr1 letters have not come out. As they have already put out the October dates and employment got letters for that I dont think they would stop putting out eb letters Ir/cr tends to get their letters on the last week of the month, then employment the following week

I'm presuming they were unaware of when the visas were going to run out. And it happened before they anticipated. I'm just hoping they all get mailed out on the 1st/2nd and we aren't reset to waiting 10 working days from the 1st

We had ours on the 9th and no updates. Someone who was ir1 also had there interview on the 9th and received their passport on 17th. So I'm fully of the opinion we are all waiting until the 1st. Our plan is to email on the 1st and find out what's happening.

I've not heard of any exceptions. Best plan would be to call the US medical doctor now and ask what they recommend. Otherwise it's likely you would be put into AP until she can have the vaccines and update the medical record.

I have read that the documents cannot be laminated incase they are forged sadly. So you will need to get another copy.

We are still on ready. Interview was the 9th. Also not heard from Montreal about the lack of visas yet.
