  1. We got our NOA2 on sept 25th and I emailed an enquiry and recieved a response in a few days that had my case number and everything on it. We went online this past friday night and filled out the ds-160 and there was no link to pay any fee. Now we dont know what to do, lol. I think we are still waiting for a welcome letter or an emailed bill for the bank to go pay a fee. We are kind of hanging in standby mode at the moment.
  2. @madmanmike When you paid the fees for your DS-160, were you able to pay online? Theres no RSBC bank anywhere near Butuan where Gly lives.
  3. We got our NOA2 on sept 25 and still no mail from NVC. The suspense is killing me, lol. Don't know if its going to come email or standard mail, So I'm constantly watching both.
  4. Took us 439 days. We felt the same way, didnt get notified until we were in the last 11% I think. Hang in there.
  5. Thank you for the update and CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now you can finally start your lives together
  6. WoW! so fast! Congratulations. I hope ours goes so fast. We got our case approved 2 days after you did.
  7. Ok, got my approval letter in the mail today but it says my approvals good until January 1st 2024. Does that mean we need to have the entire process completed before January 1st?
  8. YAY! We just got approved yesterday! Now I gotta find out what to do next, lol.
  9. Hey madmanmike. How difficult was it to schedule the medical? Is it easy enough to schedule it within a day or two of the interview? I have to fly Gly up to Manilla from Butuan for the interview and book her an airBNB for the stay and would be easier to do it all at once. We just got approved yesterday by USCIS. Now trying to guess about what is all to come
  10. I thought the same thing. So its just copies of pages then?
  11. An update for everyone. They recently changed the CFO process so that you cannot even schedule it until AFTER you have your fiance visa in hand, so no more scheduling in advance and , of course, theres a waiting list for the CFO as well so now its going to take even longer to be seperated from your loved ones. Someone correct me if Im wrong about this.
  12. Just get lots of proof that you were together AFTER the marriage. Save flight tickets and receipts that have date. Take pics together and then after you come home, file for your spousal visa. I'm not sure about spousal procedure, We did fiance visa but spousal is supposed to be cheaper and easier than K-1
  13. OMG! congrats on your approval!!!! We just got the notification on the app that they recieved our reply to the RFIE yesterday so Im hoping we will see today if its accepted or not or if they will send it back to us to get notarized.
  14. Hopefully you're right. It says they received my response yesterday so I guess I'll see maybe today
  15. Well, I got an RFIE for certified records concerning a non-alcohol or drug related traffic violation I'd gotten in another state in 1998ish, and an accidental bounced check for $80ish around 1992ish...lol, I say ïsh" because these incidents were decades ago and I cant remember exact details, but I confessed to them on my application just in case there were records of these things so they wouldnt think I was hiding anything. ANYWHOOO, I took a day off of work and spent the whole day driving around another state from court houses and magistrates and police departments trying to get certified records for these things and everyone looked at me like I was crazy but I managed to get the police department in the city of the traffic violation to give me a certified statement saying I have no criminal record there and that they purge their records every 5 years and I drove to another city where I bounced the check and got a certified letter from the magistrate stating that I have no criminal record there either and they dont keep records that long. I typed up statements concerning each incident, explaining that I cant remember exact dates or years or details because they were so long ago but I gave my best approximations based on other memories I had from those time frames. I also included in my statements what and where I went in order to get those certified statements and then I mailed them all back the very next day in the envelope they provided in my RFIE. Now its been a week and I just noticed in someone elses post that they had their statements that they typed up notarized before they sent them in and I realize I didnt get my statement notarized before I sent in in. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there ANY chance they will just let it go since they were such minor offenses such a long time ago and my records have been spotless for decades now? Or will they send them back and set me back another 4 weeks?
  16. Doesnt inked signature mean the same as wet signature? If it doesnt, why wouldnt they just say a copy with signature instead of specifically saying "inked"
  17. I mailed my RFIE reply back on Thursday through regular mail along with my original papers from the court with the seal on them. I hope they will send them back if I have to redo it because I had to drive to another state and plead for them to give me those papers last week. The papers from the court said there are no records that old because it was for a traffic violation in 1998 and a bounced check in 1993. Maybe since they were such small matters, they will let it go, I hope.
  18. Oh no! I sent in the original paperwork with the court seals that say there are no records and my detailed statements but didn't see that I had to have my statements notarized before I sent them in. UGH! They're probably going to RFE me again! FML
  19. I believe they want the original copy with the embossed court seal
