  1. I thought so too. I contacted Dr. Harris office to setup the appointment at CMC. I haven't communicated with him directly but the lady staff at his office told me to email my RFE and she is now concluding I need to do the whole medical. So that got me all confused again.
  2. K1 to AOS. I got an RFE few days after the interview for I-693 medical. I did the complete medical for k1 and applicant voluntarily completed vaccinations box was ticked. IO also confirmed they had my medical from K1 at the field office interview. Now polio was waived in my k1 medical, so I believe that's what they want from me now.. to get the polio vaccine. But is the RFE also asking me to do the entire medical again also?? Please wise folks, lend me your understanding. Also is there a USCIS email or something I could ask them directly to clarify what they want and have it in writing? I'm so close to the finish line, I'm stressing. I don't want to mess up now.
  3. Thanks! You guys sound like another version of us. Sent you a dm on reddit. Also, we grew up in the middle east. So we're familiar with the Filipina community. At least, I love the food and the christian music bands.
  4. Alright, I got my answers from your response in other threads. So I'm just going to copy paste what you did. It's like high school again 😂 Following up, CMC polio medical was $50 with or without insurance? Hubby's new insurance starts next month. So idk if I should wait for it. Next, which CVS branch did you go to for the polio shot? Any side effects after shot?? Finally, have you tried Adam's mystery playhouse? Or any local dinner mystery shows you have tried and would recommend?? We need a good break from all this nonsense.
  5. We are in Denver too. We just had our interview last week. Went very well. But they sent us an RFE for the polio vaccine. Which civil surgeon did you go to here? Did they charge for just the vaccine or do the whole medical again? Also how much did it come to if you don't mind sharing. Hubby is on the Cigna insurance.
  6. We don't have any property, mortgage, auto loan, significant savings or assets to draft estate Wills and such. My husband met current income requirements for i-864 and added me to all medical, tax and insurance stuff. We'll look at trying to do a POA and adding me to his bank accounts but again I wonder if doing one after getting an interview call would look red flaggy?? Irony is during K1 we wished our application would get picked early but it didn't.... 2yrs for it all. Now for AOS it got picked TOO damn early... before we could be ready. I swear the gods are bored monkeys looking for entertainment at our expense.
  7. You got approved despite not having a joint bank account?? This is what is worrying me. We got an interview for next month. 3 months after submitting AoS. I can't work yet and we didn't get around to my bank account or a joint one yet. Coz what's the point when I can't make my own income yet. I'm on my husband's lease, insurances and such.
  8. Hi, I'm now in a similar situation. What happened in your case? Did you do anything to get your card faster or just wait it out till it came in the mail??
  9. Me too. Also from India btw. Did you get your EAD and advance parole?? I had my biometrics on June 16th and no update on anything since. I would like to at least have work authorization and travel parole. Can I call USCIS or go to the field office and push this somehow?
  10. He is excluding my income as I have no income. So pls confirm once more, his W2 needed or not to clarify to USCIS that it's only his income meeting their requirements?
  11. No W2 needed with tax return transcript even if husband filed taxes as married filing jointly? This is where I'm getting confused. No consistent answer to this on visa journey and USCIS instructions are really not very clear.
  12. I read several threads and I'm still not sure on this. Pls older wiser members confirm I got this right. K1 to AOS filing. I'm not working, no EAD, no income. Hubby did taxes this year and added me. I guess it's called joint filing? Hubby makes well above poverty guidelines so he is the sole sponsor. Works as employee for a university. 1)So for I-864, all we have to add is tax return transcript, his paystubs 6 months and employment letter, US citizenship proof, right? 2) no need for his W2, right? 3) only this year tax return transcript is sufficient right? No need for 3 yrs?? I-864 Form asks to write income for 3 yrs in some section but only this year tax return transcript is sufficient, right? Sorry, my head is hurting and getting super confused on this topic so plz someone break it down for me 😭
  13. Hey did your ds 3025 have your WAC or A number typed on it? Or the ds160 interview confirmation number instead??
  14. Did your panel physician type your WAC or a number on your ds 3025? Mine put my DS 160 confirmation number instead and now I'm wondering if I'll get an RFE for medical
