  1. Massive jump guys!!! They're on ones they received in December!! Ours was approved 9th Dec - I'm eager to know where NVC likely received ours.
  2. Exactly they are. I called the GP, 119 and a walk in clinic and they all thought I was a little odd seeking out one for a non vulnerable 6 year old. It's not until I said, well the visa clinic have asked for you to call them to explain that she then booked my daughter in. Three of us spoke to three rude receptionists at visa medical. They will not accept an email from the CDC neither. As "they haven't had any updates."
  3. And you're right it isn't very popular is it when you look at the stats. There are quite a few states currently fighting against the covid vaccine mandate so 🤞
  4. I mean the CDC website says if the vaccine is not routine offered then you can receive a waiver. What I don't understand is although it's not routinely offered to under 12's why they're saying they still have to have it. However when the jab is stopped altogether. I really don't think they have an argument or loop hole to avoid giving a waiver anymore. If it's not available, it's not available. You can't be an exception just for a visa, that's not an important reason. That's a lifestyle choice. I'd understand it if the USA was high risk and all citizens had to be vaccinated but that's not the case neither.
  5. That would technically mean a waiver because they're not routinely available. Someone is currently arguing with the London medical office about it.
  6. Well I had my noa2 on the 9th December. The letter said to give it 3-4 weeks to process at the NVC or something. we emailed them on the 9th of Jan and they replied that they had it, just not created a case file.
  7. I’ve heard back from CDC in writing. They sent me a list of required vaccines and covid wasn’t on there. I did specially ask about the covid one 🤷‍♀️
  8. Thank you @milimelo! What does NIV stand for? Is that just entry by air requirements? My daughter will be exempt from that being under 18, where we will be stuck is when we apply for adjustment of status but at that point we will be married within military.
  9. Hey so the medical office told me on the phone last week, you do not need to have all the relevant vaccinations until you apply for adjustment of status. Therefore, you can travel there but you need to have them completed by the time you apply for adjustment of status. I also read, you're exempt if you have advance parole.
  10. @Wuozopo @milimelo i tried to do some more digging - I saw that it only applies to people applying for a K visa (or non-immigrant us visas). So how does this apply to the link above, I think I misread the one above I? I'm trying to find the link again. I also saw when entering the country, children under 18 are exempt and spouses/children of military force members are exempt. The medical office said to me, K1/2 applications, only require it once you're in the country and you're applying for adjustment of status and at that point we will be military spouse/child... I just cannot get my head around, why they're only enforcing this on select people.
  11. That is insane, 30 days until your interview or 30 day just for the date? looking at the NV site, they’re currently creating a file for USCIS approvals received in November. So it looks like a 60 day wait at the moment.
  12. Hey, we are k visa applicants. It’s my daughter (6) and I.
  13. @milimelo I guess this is where we’re stuck, we’re k visa holders.
  14. @milimelo hey this is helpful. When did you have your medicals? the lady at the medical office said even though it’s not routinely given, my daughter has to have it as she was born before a certain date and it’s a CDC requirement. She wouldn’t back down. They don’t have our details yet, it was an anonymous call. heeelp
  15. @Wuozopo thanks. I’ve got my daughter booked in. I’m really not comfortable with it. I got my 1st and 2nd shot but I don’t think I’m comfortable getting more. Weve been around so many positive covid cases, family, school and work and have never tested positive ourselves. England aren’t enforcing this vaccine on children under 18 and I’m not sure why the USA are. Especially when they don’t enforce it on their own children, they only recommend. So it makes sense why the nurses I’ve spoken to over the last hour at the go, 119 and the vaccine line are questioning why my daughter needs it. I personally don’t know a child that’s been vaccinated that’s why I’m more concerned. I’d be grateful for any reassurance.
  16. We got our NOA2 on the 9th December!!! NVC said a couple of days ago that they have our case it’s just in a queue to create a file. Do we know how long this is currently taking for K1 visas until the interview at the moment?
  17. Hey! We received our NOA1 on the 5th October 2021z we received our NOA2 on the 9th December 2022! Just waiting for the NVC to create our case file, I’m curious what happens between now and our medical.
  18. Are children meant to get the covid shots too definitely ?? I don’t know one nurse that has given their children this yet, they’ve only got it themselves.
  19. @Icedgem thank you so much for relying! Glad I’m not the only one overthinking this! How long was it between USCIS approving and submitting your documents? Did you submit your documents as soon as you’d heard from NVC? I’m trying to figure out when we’ll receive our interview.
