  1. Hey, We had our medicals back in March and have arrived in the USA and are now ready to file for our green cards. At the medicals I had all required vaccines but my 7 year old who needs the covid vaccine apparently. Obviously, time has ticked and some things have been updated. It now says one dose of covid is required at the medical exam but we've had our medicals. So what is the situation now does anyone know?
  2. We emailed NVC and they sent my fiance the welcome letter with the case number and stuff. I then made an account, filled in the ds-160, paid the fees and booked the interview. I've not received anything yet personally and our case on the NVC says in transit. As long as you have your welcome letter you're good to go.
  3. I just created an account on the embassy website and it allows us to book an appointment from the 1st March onwards after payment. So maybe that was generic?
  4. I'm so confused. I thought with the K1 visa, the interview is booked once the package arrives at the consulate. I tracked our case on NVC and it says the interview date had been provided? No it hasn't.
  5. How do you know they’re working until midnight? I'm crossing everything that they are.
  6. Me too 🫠 NOA2 of 9th Dec, they replied to our enquiry on Monday to say they were working on ours but nothing more.
  7. Yeah we’re in a pickle with some crucial arrangements to do with my daughter and needing to apply for parole as well.
  8. Do we know if interviews in London are still quick. NOA2 9th Dec. I don’t understand why we haven’t heard anything as of yet. We had an email to say ours was in administrative processing and we’d be notified when it’s forwarded to the embassy. This was last Monday.
  9. Haven’t received anything yet. I read that the beneficiary receives an email to say it’s been sent to the embassy? I’ve not received anything.
  10. Hey, what made you think they’ll be sent to the embassy on the 14th Feb? We had our noa2 9th Dec and last Monday they replied saying they were doing admin work on ours. No other update since 🤷‍♀️
  11. Have you guys heard anymore on this? I’ve got a feeling USA will be following the UK and withdrawing the mandate.
  12. I wonder if you guys messaged today if you would get the same message we did on Monday… I’m NOA2 9th Dec and they’re currently working on ours.
  13. Thank you!! We’ve been emailing too. Our NOA2 was 9th December. Our last email said they had received it and it was waiting. The generic one. Then we got this one saying it’s being worked on. I assumed this must mean we will get out case number in a couple days.
  14. Heya, does anyone know how long it takes for the NVC to create the case file and provide the case number? We received the below email, so it looks like the wait is over and they now are working on it. Based on what other people have said I’m not sure we will hear anything until the embassy receive it.
  15. Why? I posted, it was not about the K1 visas. It was if anyone knew how long the admin took when they were working on your case. Is it two days etc… and then sending to the embassy and receiving an interview. Since people are that far on this forum, I thought they’d know the answer.
  16. Our NOA2 was 9th Dec. My fiancé emailed them last week and we got this response yesterday.
  17. Yeah basically there are lot of website currently saying if you're unjabbed you have 2 1/2 weeks to get jabbed. https://www.england.nhs.uk/2023/01/nhs-issues-final-call-to-come-forward-for-covid-booster/ https://www.timeout.com/uk/news/when-does-the-uks-covid-vaccine-programme-end-012623 https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/covid-jab-booster-vaccine-end-b2269089.html Phoned 119 to clarify these links, lady I spoke to didn't know what I was talking about, tried to tell me the NHS don't know about it. So I phoned up, again hoping to get through to another person. The guy was knowledgeable and said it's going to stop in the next month, so unless I really want my child vaccinated then just wing it because there enough time to get both vaccinations now. And he can't see why we won't get the 'not routinely available' waiver. He doesn't think US will be far behind.
  18. In addition to this we had a reply from the NVC on the 11th Jan to say ours was received. As we hadn't emailed any earlier, it's possible they received ours before I guess. It's annoying we cannot see then precise date.
