  1. Good to know that last updated date is a confirmation about our medical report being received by the consulate. I checked ours and it shows the updated date a week after our medicals ( which is after our doctors office confirmed that they sent the reports). Thanks!
  2. Question to all who completed their medicals - typically the physician's office sends out the completed medical report to consulate directly. Is there any way or process to know if the consulate received it or not? Trying to be cautious to avoid any surprises on the day of interview though our doctors office mentioned over the phone that our medical reports are sent to the consulate.
  3. Ture, I think there might be some cases in this forum who got IV approved when they had TN visa
  4. Thanks for bringing up this question and looking forward for any experiences. I think most EB cases that are approved in this group were in healthcare or already working in US with some other visa category( mostly TN) or working in Canada for US employer
  5. @legit_immigrant @MR.R @viksaw @8x Going by the EB tracker, it appears like you all have received or should receive the IL's soon 🤞
  6. Congratulations @3LabMom and @sjy. Hope wait times for everyone DQ'ed becomes less and less!
  7. @DTCC Absolutely not in a hurry for the response. You settle down and we can talk later, happy for you that all went well!
  8. Hope it will get resolved soon ! That's great News! Congratulations !
  9. I hope all gets sorted soon for you as well as mentioned by BGO
  10. They do not give any missing shots at the Dr. Lee's clinic. Depending on where you stay in Ontario, you might want to check with your primary care physician or public health office/clinic. For my wife, our work insurance covered partially for Hep B vaccine that she took at Shoppers Drugmart.
  11. @farzady glad all is sorted out, very best wishes for the interview!
  12. Thanks much, we were leaning more towards rescheduling my spouse's oath and I think that's the best option now.
  13. Thanks for reconfirming on all possible scenarios and we feel more confident to go ahead with our decision to reschedule my spouse's oath ceremony as well. We cannot control what happens at the IV interview other than hoping all works in our favor. I can simply vouch that you provide more clarity & confidence than most attorneys out there for most of us stuck in unique situations
  14. Yes, that's my situation. My spouse received Canadian oath ceremony date before IV interview and we are debating if she should attend the oath ceremony, expedite to get citizenship certificate and if possible Canadian passport before attending the IV interview ( she has 2 weeks in hand between oath and IV interview). We are thinking of all possible situations that could happen and want to take the best route of action
  15. @Kai G. Llewellyn @jpfashizzle @VIR CHAMP @Maverick_TO @can_2_us 1.Does letting the CO know of the changes in citizenship at the interview causes delay in approving the IV? 2.If principal applicant citizenship is intact but the dependent applicant on DS 260 citizenship status changes that needs to be informed at the IV interview, will it affect the principal applicant's situation in making a decision for IV approval? Everyday is seeming more chaotic until the interview is done. Thanks for any valuable inputs!
  16. Hypothetical situation which seems crazy to explain but it is what is when most of us are stuck waiting for IV interviews/ approvals for prolonged years ….. kindly share your valuable inputs/suggestions based on your expertise or research understanding US LPR and Canadian citizenship timelines. Please tag any senior members of the group as needed for better response/clarity. -Montreal interview for EB2 scheduled for Mar 2023 both for myself and my wife ( same case number) for which I had to reschedule my Canadian citizenship oath ceremony that was before US consulate interview ( considering there might be potential conflicts explaining situation wrt to changes in citizenship at the US consulate interview) -My wife got her Canadian citizenship ceremony now ( we had applied separately for Canadian citizenship) and we are again in a big dilemma whether we should reschedule for her as well or not - What might be the implications if one of our citizenship has changed than what is entered on DS 260? Will this affect the principal applicant(me) too since we both are under same case number and my wife is a dependent in IV process? -If we are approved at the Montreal, we are planning to resume our Canadian oath ceremony process right after we cross the border to activate IV. However there is always an "IF" situation if our case gets stuck in AP causing delays. In that scenario, can we resume our Canadian oath ceremony process? How this might affect our IV situation when the timeline is highly uncertain on AP'd cases?
  17. We finished our medicals with Dr. Randall Lee in Ontario. It was a fairly quick and easy process as long as one has all immunization records clear. Only Hepatitis B is recently introduced as a requirement, myself and my wife got checked at our doctor's office for immunity( Titer test) I was good but my wife did not have immunity, so she took the Hep B vaccine ( 1st dose in the series) before we went to our medical appointment. At Dr. Lee's office, they asked for our passports, interview letter, vaccination proof records and any prescribed medications list. They do not ask for photos instead took our picture. Once all our records were checked and updated at the front office, we were called in to meet Dr. Lee. He went over our vaccine records and confirmed we both have all required vaccines ( including Covid and flu shots), did a preliminary physical check with basic questions and finally said we are all good and they will call us back in a week before they are ready to send it to the consulate. We had to do the chest X-ray in the basement of the same building which will be added to our medical report. All in all it took 2.5 -3hrs and front office staff were pretty good. Happy to answer any questions related to medicals. Next stage is getting ready for the most awaited big interview
  18. It would be good to have an idea on the kind of questions to expect at the interview. I see lot of compiled list of FAQ's with interview questions in the IR1/CR1 categories, but not seen for EB category
  19. @jpfashizzle @CAN_2_US @VIR CHAMP @Maverick_TO Any inputs is highly appreciated, thanks much!
