hello as mentioned above this post is revolves around an error from the USCIS which resulted in the refusal of my green card application ..sometime ago i had recieved an RFE . i am the beneficiary living outside of USA. i arranged some evidences of a bonafide marriage to address the RFE. i had the package sent from my home country well 2 weeks before the deadline but the package did not reach the destination.. upon inquiring i learned that the USCIS failed to include the necessary barcode page at the end of the RFE that resulted in the delay..since the courier companies did not find that page that contained the barcode , the package kept sitting in a kind of limbo at the courier offices..it was only after the deadline had passed that i learned of this issue but unfortunately it was too late by then and the USCIS had already refused my application. this was a brief history of the issue. my wife has written to the concerned officer about the blunder that they had made. we kept waiting for the response but they only sent a confirmation email after 2 months simply acknowleding the receipt of the mail and also stating that they will be looking into the matter. in light of this information i wish to ask that WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT MY CASE WOULD BE REOPNED. ?DO THEY EVEN CONSIDER SUCH TYPE OF REQUESTS.?? IF NOT THEN HOW SHOULD WE PROCEDD WITH THE ISSUE GIVEN THAT FACT THAT IT WAS NOT OUR MISTAKE AT ALL... i have attached alll the proofs that my package was in the USA well within the deadline and it was only due to the lack of the address that resulted in the delay...what are the chances of getting the case reopened...THANKS

hi.. i need urgent advice on a very serious issue.. we received the dreaded RFE with the stated deadline.. we filled the appropriate response 15 days before the stated deadline but due to some delievery issues it got delayed and did not reach the office on time. it clearly shows on the uscis account that the deadline has passed and we have not received any evidence. what should be the course of action now.. i have filled a case with the courier services as to why they delayed but the damage has been done.. what should be the course of action now... how can i explain this sitatuion to the uscis

how to handle RFE

we are still at the NVC stage.. we were waiting for the final approval but instead received the RFE.. is it normal for USCIS to ask for more evidences at such initial stages. i mean we did attach everything that could corroborate a bonafide marraige.. my wife in usa and i am still oversees so things like joint bank accounts and leases are still out of question. -
hello.. i require some assistance regarding the RFE. recently we received the dreaded REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE (RFE) . despite attaching the marriage certificates (NIKAHNAMA muslim marraige certificate) and all the supporting evidences, uscis has still requested more to establish a bonafide marriage. the letter clearly states INTENT TO MARRY WAS BONAFIDE as an objection and further mentions all the possible evidences that one can submit to corroborate the claim of a bonafide marriage. i must mention here that we did not send pictures of our marraige with the original i-130 as we were given to believe such documents are required at the interview and not along with the initial i-130 packages. in light of the above information what should be the right course of action and how should we proceed with addressing their objections. further i wish to know how would this letter effect my chances of sucessfully completing the procedure.?? is RFE really a bad omen for the entire green card application. is the application doomed forever or is it fixable ?? regards

hello .. i require some assitance regarding my case. i am a resident of pakistan... my wife in usa filed for my i 130 on dec 12 2022 last year. initially it showed that the case would be resolved in under 6 months. but after the said time expired the USCIS websites started showing that YOUR CASE IS TAKING LONGER THEN EXPECTED.. it does not even show any timeline any more.. now it has been more then 8 months since we applied but have not recieved any updates. ergo i wish to know that considering the backlog how much longer can i practicallly expect to wait. what are the waiting timelines for poeple of pakistan ?? thanks

thats was disappointed to read. i was given to understand that the whole process would be done with in 12 months... a local expert gave me 10 months on my case... he told me that a person who filed almost 11 months ago has succesffully completed his entire process.. is it possible that some cases randomly get quicker response then the rest ??
