  1. why do you say that ..?? is it a normal practice for an old case to be reopened citing errors from their side?
  2. hello as mentioned above this post is revolves around an error from the USCIS which resulted in the refusal of my green card application ..sometime ago i had recieved an RFE . i am the beneficiary living outside of USA. i arranged some evidences of a bonafide marriage to address the RFE. i had the package sent from my home country well 2 weeks before the deadline but the package did not reach the destination.. upon inquiring i learned that the USCIS failed to include the necessary barcode page at the end of the RFE that resulted in the delay..since the courier companies did not find that page that contained the barcode , the package kept sitting in a kind of limbo at the courier offices..it was only after the deadline had passed that i learned of this issue but unfortunately it was too late by then and the USCIS had already refused my application. this was a brief history of the issue. my wife has written to the concerned officer about the blunder that they had made. we kept waiting for the response but they only sent a confirmation email after 2 months simply acknowleding the receipt of the mail and also stating that they will be looking into the matter. in light of this information i wish to ask that WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT MY CASE WOULD BE REOPNED. ?DO THEY EVEN CONSIDER SUCH TYPE OF REQUESTS.?? IF NOT THEN HOW SHOULD WE PROCEDD WITH THE ISSUE GIVEN THAT FACT THAT IT WAS NOT OUR MISTAKE AT ALL... i have attached alll the proofs that my package was in the USA well within the deadline and it was only due to the lack of the address that resulted in the delay...what are the chances of getting the case reopened...THANKS
  3. no i dont know where the package is... it is lost in the system.. how should i proceed with this
  4. additionally there was a huge mistake from the uscis side.. there was no coversheet attached with the rfe which resulted in unnecessary delays...how can i bring this up with the right people
  5. deadline was march 18 but we have concrete evidences to prove that the repsonse was indeed in the courrierr system 10 days before the said deadline and would have been delieviered on time had it not been for the gross negligance..
  6. deadline was march 18 but we have concrete evidence that the response package was indeed in the courier system 10 days before the said deadline and would have been delievered on time
  7. it deos not say so on the official uscis account... there is no mention of the receipt of any sort of reply.. who should i approach at the uscis regarding this matter
  8. there in update on my official uscis account.. how should i proceed with this matter.. plus there was a technical issue from the uscis side as well.. they failed to include the cover sheet in the rfe letter which resulted in the delay.. who should i contact now at uscis in this regard
  9. it waa technical error from my couriers company side.. everything was send timely but the package was somehow not received... would the uscis entertain this valid excuse ??
  10. hi.. i need urgent advice on a very serious issue.. we received the dreaded RFE with the stated deadline.. we filled the appropriate response 15 days before the stated deadline but due to some delievery issues it got delayed and did not reach the office on time. it clearly shows on the uscis account that the deadline has passed and we have not received any evidence. what should be the course of action now.. i have filled a case with the courier services as to why they delayed but the damage has been done.. what should be the course of action now... how can i explain this sitatuion to the uscis
  11. no..i am the foreign spouse and my wife is the petitioner off course . she will respond obviously but i am also collecting as much information as i possibly can so that we dont make anymore mistakes.
  12. sorry for the delay..got occupied elsewhere.. it was my understanding that pictures and other supporting docs are required at the interview stage therefore i didnot send any.. seems like i made a blunder.. regarding your question about country of residence,i live in pakistan... what should be the best course of action here...
  13. thanks alot for your input.. we will submit as much evidences as we can .. regards
  14. sure sir.. relevant screenshots have been attached.. please review yes paksitan
  15. we are still at the NVC stage.. we were waiting for the final approval but instead received the RFE.. is it normal for USCIS to ask for more evidences at such initial stages. i mean we did attach everything that could corroborate a bonafide marraige.. my wife in usa and i am still oversees so things like joint bank accounts and leases are still out of question.
