  3. My wife received an email from USCIS saying that our case has been sent to the Orlando Field Office for processing and we have an opportunity to submit more evidence. My wife is about 6 and a half months pregnant and I was wondering what would count as evidence of her pregnancy.
  4. Received this noticed yesterday, December 7th. Post date was December 1st and the status didn't change on the website until the 6th. I guess the I-765 and the I-131 got approved together but the I-131 still says pending.
  5. My wife just had her employment authorization card approved yesterday December 6th. Just shy of two months after her biometrics.
  6. My wife had the same problem. She went to the SSA and they told her that she first needs her EAD before she can make the change. We are in Massachusetts.
  7. It depends on where you live https://www.uscis.gov/uscis-lockbox-filing-locations-chart-for-certain-family-based-forms
  8. Congratulations, but I think you belong in this post instead. My wife just had her Biometrics done today, hopefully she'll get her employment authorization card soon.
  9. I didn't send my tax returns from last year because I hadn't made enough money, I ended up sending my bank statements along with the tax return and transcript. I'm still waiting for them to acknowledge that they received my RFE.
  10. You should've been eligible t get a SSN with just your K1. You can also get it with just EAD. My wife got hers with just the K1 and I've met people that got it with the EAD
  11. Biometrics scheduled for 10/05/2023 I noticed that they still haven't received the RFE I sent.
  12. You no longer need to prove legal status to get a driver's license in Massachusetts. You won't be able to get a real ID though. https://www.boston.com/news/local-news/2023/07/04/undocumented-immigrants-drivers-license-massachusetts-application-process/
  13. You'll have to apply to remove condition on the green card 3 months before its expiration, so you'll be dealing with immigration again on June 2025
  14. Not as long as you got married before the expiration date. If you got married after the deadline you'll need to file I-130 I believe.
  15. I received a request for initial information. I didn't send a copy of my tax returns because I didn't make enough money last year but I had started a new job so I sent the letter of employment along with pay studs, but I guess it wasn't enough.
  16. Yes yes So it doesn't apply to your spouse. Check the guide : https://www.visajourney.com/guides/adjustment-of-status-k1-k3-visas/ And here are some examples but don't use these forms as they are expired, use the one downloaded from the USCIS website https://www.visajourney.com/forms/examples/
  17. August 10th - Sent the application August 15th - Application received August 15th - Case Created August 18th - Notice Date August 26th - Received the confirmation letter I guess now we have to wait to have the fingerprints scheduled.
  18. It is this page: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx You use "Non-immigrant visa" to track with the DS-160 number which is faster. To track with the NVC number you choose "Immigrant Visa" but it takes longer to get the result. They both give you the same answer.
  19. We got the visa today 13 days after interview. Our POE will be in San Francisco. I've never entered the US through San Francisco before. Hopefully they're cool :)
