  1. I filed my WOM after 90 days and got my visa in the end. The duration of the wait to file had zero effect on the result. Some others got motions to dismiss based on not having waited too long but this was actually luck of the draw since they waited longer than me. Some had shorter wait times and got no motions to dismiss. All eventually got their visas. Absolutely DO NOT wait 6-12 months to file WOM. It does nothing to help your case and only hurts you to wait. My lawsuit took about 4.5 months from filing to get approved. DO NOT WAIT 6-12 months to file as you will only draw things out longer for yourseld.
  2. I just crossed on Dec 29 and packages are definitely not digital…not sure where you heard this from. @GHSDK mine wasn’t ripped so I can’t comment on that. I think your medical and perhaps your 129f is in there. But if you’re worried about the extent of the rip, I think you have to weigh yourself whether you wanna flag it to the Consulate or wait and see if the border cares. It’s a tough call
  3. Thank you!!! I actually got my screen name from a song called My Missing Piece by Vance Joy. It’s about a couple in a long distance relationship during the pandemic. If you haven’t heard it before, I’m sure it’ll hit you guys in the feels as much as it does for me:
  4. We waited 90 days to reach out to the Consulate to follow up. When we didn’t get anywhere from that, we reached out to an attorney for WOM. And then it took us 4 weeks to file suit from there (lots of back and forth with the attorney first). We are still waiting for our visa, and have received a 60-day extension on the first deadline. But, we have been asked for a new medical so we are hopeful that we’ll get out of AP and issued this month. The order of processing WOMs and motions to dismiss all seem random to me - not necessarily based on how long you’ve waited. Some who have waited less time since DS-5535 get approved no problem, and others who have waited longer have gotten motions to dismiss arguing they haven’t waited long enough. It’s random and makes no sense. Your lawyer will help fight that motion though. So all that to say, 60 days might be a bit too quick, but we reached out after 90 days and they took on our case.
