    Petitioner and Beneficiary will receive “Case Creation” email from NVC generally within 7 days. You’ll have to log in with the IDs to pay AOS & IV fees, upload documents, and complete DS260. I believe you can stay in this stage for a year. Check out the thread about delaying at NVC stage. Sorry for your loss.

    Don't forget civil documents too! Original marriage cert, divorce cert (if any by Petitioner or Beneficiary), police report, beneficiary birth cert. Based on what I've read on VJ, no harm gathering vaccination records into the file too. You might not want to spend time searching for them post baby's arrival.

    Still struggling? Perhaps you can pre-populate the "answers" on a Word document and then "copy paste" it unto CEAC for a faster entry when saving. The sample DS260 can be found at https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/DS-260-Exemplar.pdf

    Filed I-130 online. Received NVC case creation email about 4 days after approval. Both Petitioner and Beneficiary received the same email.

    Either of you can log in to complete DS260.

    Stalk your email. NVC will send both petitioner and beneficiary an email on case creation details. You will then need to complete the online DS260, submit Affidavit of Support (I-864) and civil documents.

    I had similar issue… Resolved by me downloading and completing the latest I-130a, with no signature as I’m overseas, and my USC husband printing and mailing it back with the RFE letter.

    Go to Emma, the chat bot on uscis website and request Live Agent. You’ll be instructed to provide petitioner info and your case number, IOExxxxx. Once connected to an agent, ask which processing center is your case located now.

    Utah Wedding - easy recognised US cert, but need to check how (and how long) to obtain the physical copy. Myanmar Wedding - Might need to translate document, if not in English. I understand from other threads that both of you are based in Thailand. Would the embassy interview be in Thailand or Yangon? If in TH, have you considered marrying in TH?

    I got mine in 3 biz days. On VJ, I read it is about 3-5 days. Meanwhile, you can start downloading the I-864 form and start working on it.

    I got my NVC email within 4 days, both USC and beneficiary. The subject is "Notice of Immigration Visa Case Creation". Email address is National_Visa_Center@state.gov. I tried logging in after 2 days and subsequently paid my AOS and IV fees. I'm now waiting for them to process my payment.

    Mine is also fully digital. However the RFE letter clearly states to mail my responses back. Please follow your letter exactly.

    Hi @mapi, I also got an RFE for an incomplete I-130a. I followed the instructions to fill in a new form and UPS mailed it back to USCIS. I received my approval within a week, so you just need to keep checking for updates! It is coming!

    Thank you! I tried it earlier and it is asking me for a letter from the authority requesting the COC. I'm wondering if I should provide my I-130 approval instead, hence I'm asking of anyone else have come across this issue.

    Hello all! According to NVC site for US Visa: Reciprocity and Civil Documents by Country, Photocopy of document from relevant consulate/immigration authority/government bodies or other requestor to establish that the certificate is required by such authority and that a statutory declaration of no criminal conviction by the applicant is not acceptable as evidence that s/he has no criminal convictions. Can anyone enlighten me where I can get such document to file my police report request?

    Hello! Does Germany require you to provide a letter of authority when requesting for the police cert? As in, do they validate the reason for the cert? If yes, which document did you share? Thanks in advance.

    I didn't get any updates on NOA2. I found the approval letter under the documents section, and later got an email from NVC to start next steps. Hence likely you both will be hearing from NVC soon. Stalk your email inbox!! Congrats on the approval!

    Got my I-130 approval today! Thanks to knowledge gained from other threads in VJ, I noticed my case status had changed its dates, so I checked and found our approval under the documents section.

    Same. It was showing 4mths 2 days ago, current status is same as yours.
