Hi. Yes, indeed we are aware. We were/are hoping to be all finished with it in time to move by the end of February. Hopefully having to reschedule the interview won't mess that up. 🙏🏼

We're actually going to fly. We found flights that are pretty reasonably priced and it will save me having to drive in London. No thanks! And yes, the vaccines will all be taken care of by the time we go. We believe the only one she didn't have that is required is her flu jab, and she went and had that done yesterday. Aside from that everything on that front should be in order. And thanks, I'll have a look at the thread

So while we wait to get a new interview appointment, we went ahead and scheduled my wife's medical appointment just so that's in the books and out of the way. Plus we live in the northeast of England so it's a long journey down to London, and don't really want to do them too close together. Anyway, what are some of the pitfalls that have been encountered when getting everything ready for the medical? My wife went into her GP yesterday and when she told the receptionist that she would need a summary care record, the woman didn't seem to know what that was. She gave my wife a form to fill out, which is called Subject Access Request. It's 3 pages, and asks basic questions, it seems as if it's to give them permission to access/release her records. Once this is submitted, I'm guessing the GP office will figure out what's needed and be able to accommodate? Just want to make sure everything is in order before we get down there -- would hate to go all that way and not have everything we need. Plus my wife is a bit of a worrier and likes to plan for every possible contingency, and even some that aren't possible lol Thanks!

No worries, we got the DQ e-mail on October 17th, and our interview date e-mail came on November 6th. So that's what, just under 3 weeks? Unfortunately for us, the date we were given won't work, so we've had to cancel it and are in the process of checking for a new date that will suit us. So far only 1 has come up - all of the other times, it has said there are none available and to check later. When the one came available, it was there for about 30 minutes and then it was gone.

So like I mentioned in a different topic, we finally got the email with the interview date last week. It is for December 20th, which doesn't work for us unfortunately (I'm out of the country and my wife can't get the time off work anyway). So I've gone into the system, registered the appointment, and gone to reschedule it. You can't do that until you cancel the existing appointment, which I've done, and when I click to search for a new date there aren't any available. I'm not surprised, I was expecting that. Does anyone have any indication when slots are added into the system? Like, is it completely and totally random? Is it once a day? Once a week? Once a month? I don't really want to keep having to search every 47 seconds unless there's a chance of it being fruitful. Thanks for any insight!

Just a heads up that I got the interview email this morning. So that's something. Unfortunately for us, I'm going to be out of the country so we're probably going to have to reschedule it. But yeah hopefully the rest of you that have been DQ'ed recently will get the email in short order.

Just an update. Still waiting for the interview letter. Our DQ came through on October 17th. Will it be a physical letter that we'll get in the mail? Or will it be an e-mail?

Thanks for that. Would that include printouts of the i864, both from myself and from my co-sponsor (my sister in America). If yes, would that also include the originals of the financial and personal information used that is my sister's (i.e., her taxes, her ID, etc)? I thought I read something on the us.gov site that you don't need to bring anything pertaining to the i864 to the interview, but I read a lot of things yesterday from various sources so I could be mistaken.

So we just got DQ'd earlier in the week and I'm thinking ahead to the interview. I have been trying to work out exactly what documents we will need to take to the actual interview, and what they need to be. I think I know what we need to bring, but can anyone lay it out just so I'm clear? Don't want to travel all the way down to London and make a mistake by forgetting something. Thank you!

Yeah hopefully soon! I'm kind of expecting it to be 6 weeks or so, but maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be less than that. Just will be happy when this is all finally finished, it's mentally exhausting.

I believe you have to have one for every country you have lived in since you turned 16. I could be mistaken though, I'm not an expert. Just thought I would chime in, in the event you were still looking for an answer.

Yeah same here, it took 4-5 weeks for it to arrive. So plan accordingly.

The final time I submitted documents to the site was on October 9th. So yes, correct assumption

We just got our DQ e-mail today. For timeline purposes, our i130 application was submitted September 11th 2022, case was sent to Department of State on August 6 of this year, and after waiting to get things such as my wife's police certificate and dealing with a request for further information, we got the DQ e-mail this afternoon. And now I suppose we wait for an interview date. Based on a couple threads I've read, it looks like we can expect the date to be sometime in the range of late November to maybe the middle of December?

I just did the police certificate form last week and I'm pretty sure it says they currently aren't offering expedited service. It's standard service only. About 4 days later I got an email telling me I had made a mistake in my submission and they had me do it again. So I don't think it's taking them very long to look at requests.

This is what mine says.... "September 11, 2022 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS As of September 11, 2022, we are actively reviewing your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number (redacted). Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you." It's said that from the beginning so I don't think it means anything lol.
