I was about to ask. I got mine in 2021 but got email asking me to resubmit a police certificate. I am currently in the US. Does anyone know if there is a way I can do that in the US without going back to Canada? Also I am F1 category. priority date: Dec/2015 DQ: Feb 2021

Hello folks, As the title suggests, I have been waiting for my consulate interview to be scheduled since Feb 2022. My priority date is Dec 2015. I have since moved to the US for work. I will be in the US for a while. I have a couple of questions: When my priority date becomes current, I will request the file to be transferred from Canada to the US. Is the form that needs to be filed is I-485? How long will that take? Will I be subject to retrogression? What other factors would delay my process since I am not in Canada anymore? Thank you for your input.

Hey folks, I have no update yet. I am still waiting my priority date to become current. F1 category. Priority Date: Dec2015 DQ'ed: Feb 2022. No interview schedule yet.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I didn't know it would require such a follow-up. Is this the same for Montreal as well? Or do you have the option to take it anywhere in Canada? Perhaps folks can recommend if there are better clinics that the US embassy recognizes. I am still waiting for the embassy to schedule my interview. This information definitely helps me plan in advance. Thanks again!
