I was about to ask. I got mine in 2021 but got email asking me to resubmit a police certificate. I am currently in the US. Does anyone know if there is a way I can do that in the US without going back to Canada? Also I am F1 category. priority date: Dec/2015 DQ: Feb 2021

would that be subject to visa retrogression? and how long will that take?

Hello folks, As the title suggests, I have been waiting for my consulate interview to be scheduled since Feb 2022. My priority date is Dec 2015. I have since moved to the US for work. I will be in the US for a while. I have a couple of questions: When my priority date becomes current, I will request the file to be transferred from Canada to the US. Is the form that needs to be filed is I-485? How long will that take? Will I be subject to retrogression? What other factors would delay my process since I am not in Canada anymore? Thank you for your input.
