    Obviously having a US bank is great for doing living in the USA. But having canadian bank accounts is also useful for any stuff you do in Canada. If you visit there, own properties there, etc.

    not too important. when was the last time yo showed a person your physical ssn card? 7 years ago a bank refused to open an account because they misunderstood the text. other than that never been an issue in a decade
