  1. I found that others are having this issue in the Site Bug Thread. I found that if I enter in a date around 4/22, it works. Anything more than that and it doesn't. Must be looking for a NOA2 to NVC date difference more than 1 month as invalid.
  2. Same Timeline Issue here for NVC Received Date. Can't someone fix it so it allows you to enter a date past 90 days? Mine took 93!
  3. Greetings, I received my NVC Case Number and notification that the case was received today. I went in to change my timeline to reflect the NVC Received Date, but I got an error. It says that two dates are in error, the NOA2 and NVC Received. However, both seem to be correct to me. I entered in the NOA2 date back in March. No issue. However, I enter in one NVC Received Date, and both are showing as an error. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
  4. I finally got my NVC Case Number today. I went into CEAC to check the status. Right now, it says "At NVC". What are the statues that follow as I track my case to "READY"? I understand that "Ready" means we can file the DS-160, schedule the interview, and pay the MRV Fee, but what statuses come after "At NVC" and before "Ready" as it pertains to K-1 Visas?
  5. Just got my NVC Case Number via NVCResearch today. I checked the case status in CEAC. It says "At NVC". What are the other statuses that follow?
  6. Just got my NVC Case Number via the email to NVCResearch. Also received the Public Inquiry response informing me the case was received. To all who follow: do both each week until you get a response. Took me 93 days from NOA2 to NVC Received.
  7. Friday was the last Public Inquiry I got a response from. I sent another out immediately since it takes a week to get a response. Then on Monday, I emailed NVCResearch. Still no reply from either.
  8. Hold your horses, kiddos. I got my NOA2 on March 14th, and STILL don't have an NVC case number. The reality is that you are still in for a wait.
  9. Congrats to you both! Am on day 92 of still having no NVC case number since NOA2 on March 14. FML.
  10. How did you get notice from NVC? Did you fill out the public inquiry form or send an email to nvcresearch?
  11. In the timeline, which steps corresponds to when you get the case number from the NVC?
  12. Thank you. So, we can do the DS-160 as soon as we know the case number? We don't need to wait for the READY status from CEAC? Can we submit it and complete it before the READY status as well? Is it best to do the DS-160 and pay the MRV fee after the READY status all at once? So how did you eventually get your case number if no NVC inquiry had it?
  13. Greetings, I have seen conflicting testimony here on VJ about when to do the next steps after the case is moved on from the NVC for a K-1. From what I have read in various threads, some people contend that you can submit the DS-160, pay the MRV Fee, schedule the Interview, and get the Medical Examination done as soon as CEAC shows the case has been moved to "READY" status. Others contend that you must wait for Packet 3 and even Packet 4 before doing anything. So, what is the truth in this matter? Once I get the Case Number from the NVC, and CEAC shows the case is READY, what does that mean I can do? Can I file the DS-160 at that point? Can I pay the MRV fee after completing the DS-160? Can I schedule the interview right away? Can I get the medical done? Also, I have read that the medical exam is good for 6 months. Is this true? How long is it good for? If my interview is on Sept 1st, can I get the exam done on July 1st and still have it be valid? Our embassy (Ghana) says I "must attend a medical exam with one of these doctors at least two weeks before your interview". At least two weeks could be how far out? 6 months? 5 years? Does anyone know for sure or have a recommendation? Thank you.
  14. When looking at the visa stats, does this metric (the beneficiary will get an email from NVC when the petition is forwarded to your consulate) correlate to the NVC Received, NVC Left, or Consulate Received date?
  15. Thank you so much. I will continue my weekly NVC Public Inquiry until I get a case number. Once that is generated, it takes a few more weeks for the case to be sent to the Embassy, correct? Also, I have read that once I have a case number from NVC, I can check the status with CEAC. Once that status changes to READY, I can then have my fiancée fill out the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, and schedule the interview, correct?
  16. A live agent via Ask Emma confirmed that my petition was shipped to NVC on 5/22. My NOA2 date was 3/14. I have not yet gotten an email notification from NVC. Does anyone have an idea how long it takes from when the USCIS ships the petition to when the NVC sends the welcome email?
  17. We have the same NOA2 date. I am hoping that ours was also shipped, and like you, the person who told me Monday that it hadn't been shipped yet was incorrect. That said, if it is true that yours was shipped on 5/22, it's already been 2 weeks since then and you don't have an NVC Received notice. Is that typical?
  18. Thanks. I got the same response. InfoPass is asking why I need an InfoPass appointment. No matter what I say, it responds with "I'm sorry, but that is not a valid reason for an InfoPass appointment." It was working fine when I called last week. Now, not so much. Anyone else running into this issue today?
  19. I called, said InfoPass, then it asked me "Why do you need an infopass appointment?". No matter what I said after that, it wouldn't transfer me to a live agent. Did you say "live agent" or something?
  20. Wow, I called USCIS and said InfoPass. For the first time ever, it asked why I need to schedule an appointment. Nothing I said got me to an agent, so now I can't verify if the case was sent to NVC or not. Is anyone else able to get through? If so, how?
  21. Correct, some people ARE getting their case numbers as we speak, and they are getting them before the 90 day mark. The rep said BY the 90 day mark. What is untrue in that statement?
