    Form I-485, PART 1, ITEM 27 How should I answer the question: What is your current immigration status (if it has changed with your arrival)? I recently arrived in the U.S. on a K-1 visa as the fiancée of an American citizen, and we have since gotten married. For item 26, I entered K-1. What should I enter in item 27, or should I leave it blank in this situation?

    Hello. I have a concern regarding the interview instructions that should be sent to my e-mail once the case status is Ready on the CEAC website. Case was last updated 05 Feb 2024, the interview will be in Poland, but I have not received any instructions. What should I do?

    Part 2 - Beneficiary's assets If I as a beneficiary only have a small amount of assets in my national currency and my fiance is going to support me in the US, should I write about these assets even if they are in my national currency? Should I also include assets that I have in cash (US dollars)? I am looking at the form I-134 Declaration of Financial support and see section 12 Beneficiary's Anticipated Length of Stay 12. Beneficiary's Anticipated Period of Stay in the United States What should we choose for K1 visa - No End Date?

    We finally received NOA2 after contacting the USCIS via the Senator's office.

    Thank you so much for the letter sample. Very helpful indeed. I am in a limbo too right now (as a foreign fiancee) and the whole situation seems unclear. I can see our case moving very slowly. We have contacted the Senator and they agreed to help us. Going to file an inquiry and see how it goes.

    May I ask you what did you write in the letter to your Congressman? Did you say you were concerned about the timeline or you simply asked them to track it for you?

    I thought the queue was fair. If we applied in October, our cases should now be getting approved because I heard they reduced the processing times significantly. Thank you. Will try. How often can I submit this inquiry?

    What are these processing times based on? If 18 months is a normal processing time then why are most of the cases getting approved within 12 months now?

    I am here. In the same situation. NOA1 end of October and still waiting. Just wondering about what is going on with our case because those behind us are getting approved.

    Deeply concerned about how things are going with our application processing timeline. Received NOA1 in October 2022 (K1). Now I see that cases that were filed in December 2022-January 2023 are getting approved without any expedition requests (beneficiaries the same nationality as me), while our case is moving very slowly in the queue. Using a case tracker app. I don't understand how this whole system works but it seems a bit unfair. Or could it mean that our case somehow got lost or stuck? Please advise me if there's anything I can do about this whole situation at the moment.
