  1. Do you mind adding yourself to here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jV7rzX2eCRVoEDRhOtN9a6hDoHRLNEf1P3ZGZbQ0_Dc/edit#gid=0? I have a WoM active so I haven't reached our directly. They do say on their website to not reach out until at least 6 months after you give them your DS-5535.
  2. I also am keeping a pretty close eye on the spreadsheet for evidence of other people's updates. Here are some potential factors I was able to find online about our consulate: - Ana Escrogima was the consul general up until Jul 2023. Robert P. Sanders started a couple of months ago (maybe some time in August?). - The Deputy Chief of Mission to Canada was Katherine Brucker until at least the summer, then Elizabeth C. Power was the active Deputy Chief at least as soon as Aug 16th. The current Deputy Chief is Marybeth Turner. Not sure exactly when these transitions happened but since they didn't have someone lined up, it could have been quite disruptive. I have no idea how much these individuals and changes in leadership may influence how things move as far as our process goes. That being said, internal changes in management could cause a temporary slow down in any organization. I am going to remain as positive as possible that things will pick up again soon. (Note: for those wondering how I found this out. I looked up old versions of the consulate and embassy's website on https://web.archive.org/. In particular, I was looking at versions of https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/montreal/consul-general/ and https://ca.usembassy.gov/embassy-consulates/ottawa/dcm/ since they show who is currently in the seats of those positions)
  3. Looks like things are moving slowly right now. A bunch of us had updates from Aug - early Sep but its been pretty dry with only one update in the last couple of weeks. I believe we are due to hear back on out WoM by the end of the week / early next week. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jV7rzX2eCRVoEDRhOtN9a6hDoHRLNEf1P3ZGZbQ0_Dc/edit#gid=0
  4. Not to be a downer but I was put in AP on the 27th of April and submitted my DS-5535 on May 1st. I'm past the 60 day mark now and I have not seen an update since May 5th, which was the day after I got a confirmation email from them. Processing times seem to vary by immigration type primarily, with EB folks getting through faster. We had a couple of people on this forum get through AP in about 90 days. IR-1/CR-1 folks seem to wait much much longer. If I had to guess, the employment based folks get through faster since they are being sponsored by US based business who would suffer without them. Apparently people get through at different speeds for a variety of reasons, but I haven't seen any IR-1/CR-1 folks get through in less than 6 months. Does anyone know of any counter examples to this? I'm curious if @Nbc16, @Admitt, and @LYV got to fill in the Microsoft Office digital form version of the DS-5535. The new forms are supposed to speed things up. I had the older one which I just responded to directly inside the email they sent me.
  5. I got my IL as well. I DQ'd on Nov 17th and my interview is April 27th. I read on this forum that the Police Certificate is only valid for 1 year. My certificate was dated April 22nd, so I'm just over 1 year until my interview. Additionally, my printer had an "accident" when I was scanning the document and I managed to get some ink on the original so it is slightly damaged. I am wondering if it makes sense to get an updated police certificate as a result of the above. If I show up with an old an a new police certificate, would that be an issue? Or is it recommended that I just bring the original in whatever state is it in right now
