  1. From the case was received, which usually few days later after filing for I-751. It is also shown on NOA1
  2. Awesome, thank you for checking! I believe you could still be approved just like @Elena & Craig
  3. I travelled by air in December, there was no problem. My passport also required visa or eTA for Canada, but I didn't have to apply for it because of GC and extension letter.
  4. I mean people who receive extension letters for the first time, who just filed. Sorry for confusion.
  5. Can you go back in time and change anything? Probably not. So why worry about the things you cannot control? Try applying and see what the outcome would be. Since you haven't been charged with a crime, I don't see it as a problem. Be honest if any questions are asked.
  6. Was he ever listed on your immigration forms as a parent? Is he on your birth certificate? If answers to both questions are "yes", then follow the guide, you have nothing to worry about. If the answer is no to any of these questions, there may be a complication.
  7. All the answers can be found in the guide. Affidavit of support is relevant when I-130 is approved and you're at NVC stage. For now you're just waiting. Good luck!
  8. Recent filers so far. E.g. we got 24 month letters when we filed, they got 48.
  9. Yes, the route for I-751, as far as I know, is: Service center => NBC => Local field office
  10. At least few things that come to my mind: - Did she claim to be a US citizen to get a job? - Did she vote in election? - Did she commit any deportable offence? - Did she pay taxes? - Did she use somebody else's identity to get employed? - Did she use any benefits only provided to LPRs and US citizen? - Did she re-enter the US without inspection? All of those above will have to be checked by USCIS and other federal agencies will be involved to establish these facts. So records in the last 15 years have to be checked.
  11. You're in the wrong forum. Form I-485 is for adjustment of status, which only happens if foreign spouse is in the US. Read the guide, it explains the steps Then ask more questions in this forum: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/110-ir-1-cr-1-spouse-visa-process-amp-procedures/
  12. c(9) is the category: "Pending adjustment of status under Section 245 of the Act" You're doing AOS by filing I-485. So it's applicable. That's the category I had when adjusting from other status.
  13. I also find it strange. Combo means that IO would have had I-751 file. Looks like only N-400 was conducted to me.
  14. Ain't gonna happen. ROC fees are about to double soon most likely!
  15. Congratulations! Keeps us posted on the progress!
  16. Found on WAVA thread but it's relevant here... Meanwhile people start receiving new 48 month extension letters.
  17. Pls stop asking the same question over and over, read attached comment to this question.
  18. Which service center is your I-751 at? Is your I-751 a joint or divorce waiver case? Obviously another option is suing...
  19. @Utah123 you may want to consider N-400 to push your case. You probably can apply under 5 year rule soon?
  20. Which service center was it?
  21. Renewal may not be as easy in the future. Right now it takes 12-16 months, during which you may have difficulty travelling outside of the US. Consider fees for I-90 that may go up and how many times you'd have to renew GC throughout your life. Going through bureaucracy of keeping German citizenship may be easier and cheaper in the end. Also, LPRs can be put in removal if accidentally committed a deportable offence whereas for denaturalization you'd have to do something very bad.
  22. I've got a feeling we've seen this poster under different names already in the last 3-6 months pushing the same agenda. To the question: I would upload additional evidence, if it's adding value, e.g. proving marriage and co-mingling of finances.
  23. Actually I found 1 x approval in lower 18XXX range and 1 x approval in lower 20XXX range dated yesterday in WAC. So maybe it's not a full hault. But this is a very noticeable slowdown.
