Yes, you can take a short trip between those. Sometimes oath is on the same day as N-400 interview. Make sure you don't do it on that day, because they you MUST exit and re-enter the US on US passport, and it takes time to get.

I'd do either 2 or 3, leaning towards 2. I don't think it would hurt uploading it now plus copy of its approval form for I-751. I wouldn't replace existing docs, though I don't think it would be an issue. Whichever thing you do, you're good and it won't make much difference in the end. Good luck!

I wouldn't stop caring about I-751. Ultimately N-400 will depend on I-751 approval. Unless your job requires crossing border, even if extension letter expires, you have nothing to worry about. For I-9 verification, all you need is valid DL / state ID and unrestricted SS card. You can get both now. I got unrestricted SS card in 2020 and updated DL in 2021. CA DMV gave me new DL expiring in 2026. When I changed jobs last year, I told new employer I was LPR and provided DL + SS card. No GC was shown or asked in the process. You should be able to get I-551 stamp or extension letter regardless of your N-400 as long as I-751 is pending.
