  1. You can try, but I think it's unlikely USCIS is going to accomodate you. I've seen somebody asking similar question. They changed their mind about taking husband's last name. Not sure how it went.
  2. Hi @Mahalko808 check out this forum if you have more questions: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/154-consular-reports-of-birth-abroad-crba/
  3. Three options: 1) Wait until I-751 is approved to apply for N-400 2) Wait until I-751 is approved and keep living as LPR 3) File for N-400 when you become eligible, even if I-751 is pending. The choice is yours!
  4. 99% likely it's an automatic 48 month extension. Don't worry.
  5. Things changed lately, even if it's the quickest, the quick is 20 months, but won't be surprised if jumps over 24 months in the future.
  6. The OP got GC through WAVA. 5 year is the path to go, unless OP wants to deal with physical presence and difficulties associated with obtaining GC through WAVA. Am I right to assume the OP would essentially have to reprove all marital stuff and answer uncomfortable questions under 3 year rule filing?
  7. Today's update for WAC 23xxx range as of 10:50 PM PT: 1 x new approval in lower range 7 x new approvals in upper range
  8. Some people received it twice 😃 It's an automatic mass produced letter.
  9. @RambaCat you're right. I wouldn't be suprised if new design is causing delays 🤣
  10. Another interesting observation is that many recently approved WAC I-751s are stuck on "Case Approved" status. E.g. green card is not yet produced. Card production used to happen almost instantly after approval, maybe a matter of few days at worst. Now I see cases approved few weeks ago not having cards produced. Somebody also complained about replacement card I-90 not being produced after case is approved. I wonder whether the bottleneck in I-751 is simply card production 😃 E.g. USCIS don't want to approve cases as fast because card production is a bottleneck. This is only my wild theory, not sure if it's any accurate.
  11. Hence, as most people suggest here - move out, divorce, withdraw your petition. The rest is up to her.
  12. Agreed, I see a lot of cases in Approved state in Case Tracker without progressing to Card Produced status. Some of them are stuck for several weeks. I wonder what's behind this slowdown and whether it slows down I-751s 😃
  13. Depends on how well CBP agent does his job. The requirement is "fully vaccinated" as of today. But again, don't forget AOS process. If not at the border, it may be re-evaluated later in process. I wonder if this could be categorised under misrepresentation or inadmissibility during AOS stage.
  14. It's unlikely you're going to see any difference in speed. However, N-400 under 5 year rule is a much easier case for you to file, as less documentation is needed. It's also easier to review and approve by immigration officer. If you're eligible, don't think twice - file under 5 year rule.
  15. You need to have 18 months of physical presence in the last three years on the day your interview is conducted. If you can avoid or shorten your 5 month trip, it would be the best. The worst case scenario is when you're case is barely approvable. Make sure IO doesn't have to scratch his head and it's an easy decision for him or her.
  16. Got it, best of luck and keep us posted. Another thing to consider: some vaccinations require 2 jabs, and 8 weeks between them.
  17. What happens if it's not dropped? When does the visa expire?
