  1. Great job describing the steps in super detail. Even though I am not convinced this is DIY for the most people, I think it's very helpful to know the process. So what about negotiation? Any tips there?
  2. I disagree. I used face recognition kiosk at SFO in September 2022, which let me through without a problem. The issue is when older kiosks are used, asking to scan document in addition to face recognition. That's when expired GC and extension letter are not accepted by machine and you need to see an officer. However, even in this case Global Entry "works". Because technically, you may still save time by using GE vs standing in long line at busy airports. I've seen those, but they are not as common as GE lanes.
  3. Submitted 2019 got GC in 2020. No fundamental changes to process occurred since then.
  4. All forms come first, all evidence comes last. All in the same packet. No need to duplicate evidence.
  5. Sure. It doesn't matter who pays it. Especially because for I-751 LPR is both petitioner and beneficiary 😃
  6. If you're already paying with cash, pay with personal check. It's much safer.
  7. The same as for ROC. The days are not over if filing under 3 year rule.
  8. Yes, you must have US passport for international travel. Pay for premium processing. It still may take a while to get it nowadays due to staff shortages and high demand for passports.
  9. I think there's no harm in raising a service request when your case is out of normal processing times. It's done online, for free, and hopefully result in somebody looking at your case again. I'd do it if my plan wasn't to naturalize. So that 10 year GC finally arrives.
  10. Looks like your case is severely delayed, with fingerprints in October 2022. November 2021 filers mostly got their fingerprints reused in April 2022. And you being from March 2021 makes the delay even more ridiculous. Can you / did you raise service request?
  11. You need to search cases using some USCIS tracker app (there's multiple available for IOS and Android). You probably need to search a lot of cases to find the ones that SRC is working on.
  12. Thank you for the link, it gave me a better understanding too! I pretty much found the pattern randomly by browsing cases, but now it makes perfect sense. I didn't know how to read Computer Workday set of digits.
  13. Today's WAC update for 24XXX range as of 09:15am PT: 2 x new approvals in lower range 1 x new approval in upper range
  14. Everybody's cases for WAC filers in 2021 start with 229, as far as I know. What we're talking about here is the last 5 digits, which identify your case. The last 3 we leave out for privacy reasons. For example, when I post about 24xxx range I mean cases starting with WAC2290024000 and ending WAC2290024999
  15. Fun fact: 24xxx and 25xxx ranges were skipped for some time pretty much. There's movement and approvals in 26xxx range and above happening already. I'm focused on 24xxx range, but it doesn't mean there's nothing happening in other ranges. Also, USCIS doesn't process cases following First in First Out approach strictly speaking... Let's hope you get approved soon!
  16. Sorry, I only did this so it would help search engines and whoever is looking a similar question in the future.
  17. Can USCIS determine LPR was abandoned if absense was over a year? And what happens in this case?
  18. Would USCIS put LPR status in question due to broken continuous residence? I think the only reason OP is filing under 3 year rule is because they're worried about long absences from the US in the 5 year period. Obviously, if they file in June 2025 under 5 year rule those absenses would be out of scope. But what about now?
  19. That must be annoying @nyoleg... See what the status is over the next few days.
  20. For work, recommendation is to show unrestricted social security card and ID/DL instead of GC and extension letter to avoid discrimination by employer, as discussed in thread below:
  21. Today's WAC update for 24XXX range as of 09:20am PT: 9 x new approvals in lower range 1 x new RFE in upper range 2 x new approvals in upper range What a start, I hope WAC keeps the pace!
