When you file N-400, it cannot get approved without I-751, so a lot of the times, USCIS will review and decide on your I-751 before arranging N-400 interview. Other times, they will have a combo interview for I-751 and N-400 and give you decision for both. And in some cases, they'll only interview you for N-400 and you'll keep waiting for I-751 decision to get N-400 approved. There's no way of knowing exactly how it will go.
But even in the worst case, you're saving time, because N-400 will be already done. So you naturalize faster because you didn't wait for I-751 to get approved to get started on N-400.
