  1. I-864. Each the primary and joint sponsors will have to complete this form.
  2. It's also possible USCIS would never give you a decision so you give up. Unlikely, but this happens in some rare cases.
  3. Please re-read my message. It explains how many assets the petitioner should have. Assuming the petitioner's income is $20000 and he/she lives in one of the contiguous states with no dependants. The 125% poverty guideline is $25,550. Then for K-1 assets should be: (25550 - 20000) * 5 = 27750 This is the least amount. The more is always the better, but joint sponsor is a solid solution.
  4. Of course. The net value of a petitioner’s assets typically must total at least five times the difference between the petitioner’s household income and the federal poverty level for the petitioner’s household size, or three times the difference, for a U.S. citizen who is petitioning for a spouse or child. However, USCIS is known to disregard assets, so finding a good joint sponsor is always superior option. Here's one experience using assets:
  5. Finding a joint sponsor may be the way to go for the path of least resistance.
  6. Is I-751 based on divorce waiver? Good luck and keep us posted!
  7. This is a good question. I'm not 100% sure, but. I would imagine the results won't be final until then plus isn't there a transition period while the old representative is replaced by newly elected ?
  8. It can. Mine took around close to 21 months end to end. My case wasn't an exception. Some waited even longer. There is a reason why USCIS is issuing 48 month extension letters.
  9. Yes, you can enter with expired GC and valid, original extension letter.
  10. Adjudicator opened your file. Adjudicator looked at it. Adjudicator closed it. You got alert. That's the most likely scenario.
  11. 500/1000 GBP ain't going to cause the headache. You only need to report 10000 USD or more going through your foreign accounts to IRS. If it's below, not much to file.
  12. What appointment? N-400? If yes, then I-751 must have been approved. Still, be ready to be there together and talk about the marriage.
  13. All great points. I'd only say: don't send original NOA for I-130, just a copy.
  14. Joint sponsor is the path of least resistance. Read this:
  15. Yet the OP is asking whether producing some fake tickets could help his tourist visa approval. No it won't.
  16. You can book cancellable / flexible tickets, but ideally you should book flights after visa and passport in hand. How do you know you won't be placed in admin processing?
  17. I created account but it was a long time ago... Let's see if anybody has recent experience.
  18. Why do you expect the email? How do you know it would be sent?
  19. Yes it's fine, but it's just easier to put the earlier date if you think there is possibility of travelling then. You won't get penalized for it.
  20. Did you check spam folder? Can you update email address after creating account to a different one (not sure if possible)?
  21. Yes, most people's answer is yes. The question is funky in the way it's worded.
  22. Expunged records are still records for USCIS.
  23. No and no. Whatever vaccines you are missing are going to prevent you from adjusting status. You simply won't get green card unless you bring paperwork from civil surgeon saying you met all criteria.
  24. It's ok to be worried, but as long as the father is a eligible joint sponsor, it should be OK. Sponsor should be a US citizen or US LPR, so your parents cannot help much
