  1. I don't believe parking ticket should be reported. This is according to a immigration lawyer on YouTube (Jim Hacking). I'm not a lawyer though. Others can advice.
  2. 1. Make sure your mother really wants to live in the US. Like more than 6 months in a year, ideally 9 out of 12. 2. Make sure she understands she may need to stay in the US for a year or so to receive Green Card / Advance Parole. 3. If #1 and #2 is OK, file AOS packet as @Crazy Cat suggested. 4. If #1 is OK but #2 is not, file I-130 and go via consular processing. 5. If #1 is not OK, do not file for her Green Card. She will be able to come to the US using tourist visa. Just ensure she always goes back home on time.
  3. You only need one G-1450 for entire packet. You only pay one biometrics fee for entire packet (if no dependents applying with you) You can put G-1450 before as the first form. Same with evidence. You don't need to duplicate evidence. Just submit it after all forms once. Make a table of contents to go before forms explaining what all forms and evidence you submitted in the packet. Good luck.
  4. @Danmuji if your wife works and has home address set up somewhere on employer's internal website, this could be also used to prove she lives there. Same for you. Also, if your child is in daycare, you may have some paperwork that shows your address. If you're signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, you can submit email printouts showing various mail coming to you and your wife on this address. There's many ways you can prove you live together indirectly if you don't have a lease / mortgage.
  5. Some people don't hear about biometrics for 6+ months nowadays. I had people whose biometrics took over a year to get reused. Unfortunately, I-751 is very slow. You won't hear anything for many months, at least in my experience.
  6. She and others living at the address can write affidavits. Are you a US citizen and registered to vote at this address? Maybe you can get some paperwork proving that too? Was your wife a LPR in 2021? If yes, do you have any marital evidence for that year? Trip receipts, large purchases, photos?
  7. Agree with that. Joint sponsor is superior to assets.
  8. I don't fully understand, can you please help? 1. Does the addresses on yours and your wife's ID match? 2. Is the address listed on ID the location you actually live?
  9. Hi in general, evidence looks solid. Why are you only providing statements for the last 12 months though? Either do from the time you submitted AOS, or from the start of marriage (that's what I-751 instructions ask for). Also, what about proving living arrangements? Do you have leases in both names or mortgage?
  10. She needs a proof of being a LPR. That's ADIT stamp. Filing for N-400 doesn't result in getting the stamp.
  11. You can submit it, and it shouldn't slow anything down in my opinion. Nobody looked at your file just yet probably.
  12. Of course 🙂 What I've seen personally in my "batch" of cases. My biometrics got reused in late April 2022. However, some neighboring cases had "case received" status until May-June 2023. Some of them got approved a month or two later, even before my case got approved despite my biometrics were reused for longer. I don't trust online status 100%
  13. I've seen biometrics related statuses getting stuck for a year or so. It's just a status somebody forgot to update. It shouldn't affect the actual processing of the case. One day it may magically change to "Card being produced" status. At least that's what I think.
  14. It costs $0 to create a new USCIS account. No rules forbid creating a new one. Going through USCIS to do this may be counterproductive.
  15. Try to spend time on other things, like hobbies. I highly recommend it. My case took 1 year and 8 months at WAC and it was fast compared to many other filers. Expect yours to take 2 years from the date of filing, give or take.
  16. My understanding is, probably no. I believe there's a special provision in the law for this case. I'd consult with immigration lawyer if this is the problem.
  17. You can find fees and examples here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-485 I-131 and I-765 are free when filed together with I-485
  18. They can file I-485, I-131, I-765. Copy of approved I-130 can be included in AOS packet. That's assuming wife's cousin's is a US citizen.
  19. My understanding is, you can certainly file on paper. Yes, it is a good idea to hire an attorney for the last leg of your immigration journey. It's not required, but I would.
  20. It is rare, and there can be various reasons. One of them is Adam Walsh Act. Make sure to have a serious and heart to heart chat with your spouse to confirm he did not have issues with law related to that legislation...
  21. There's no requirement for a cover letter. A petitioner can write one in their name. No need to sign anything. In my case, a lawyer wrote a cover letter in their name and never signed it.
  22. Yes, thank you, I realized that after reading again. Even less of a chance...
