  1. This means everything is doubted and your case is pretty weak at the moment. That's a serious RFE. What all did you submit in terms of evidence?
  2. Husband will always be the main sponsor and has to file I-864, regardless of current or past income. Immigrant's US based income can be used if it will continue after becoming permanent resident by filing I-864A. I'd still recommend finding a qualified joint sponsor.
  3. I wouldn't expect approvals in less than 2 months. Yes, looks like packages are being opened and obvious problematic cases are being rejected
  4. Just like estimates, this status is highly unreliable. I'd be prepared for everything. Unless GC is being produced nobody can guarantee interview was waived.
  5. You can apply now. You have to provide scans of front and back of GC. You can wait for new GC in the mail or scan current GC. It would be less confusing if you waited for new GC, but overall should be OK to scan expired conditional GC.
  6. Then it can take up to 60 days. Typically 2-6 weeks.
  7. Oh man those are expensive! I hope they get it fixed and you get good service.
  8. Oh no, sorry to hear. What brand?
  9. See the list above in my updated comment. You can also include photos of you together with friends and family over the time. You can include birth certificates of children if you have them. Important stuff: all documents should be in full, ideally not redacted or altered. Not just 1 doc, as many over the time as you can produce. At least this is what I-751 instructions ask for. Good luck!
  10. Of course, you need to provide as much evidence of bonafide marriage as you can. This includes but not limited to: - Full monthly or quarterly statements from joint bank accounts - Full copy of lease agreement(s) over the years showing both of your names - Full copies of tax return transcripts from IRS website showing you file taxes together (Married Filing Jointly) - Copies of DLs / state IDs showing matching address - Full insurance policies showing both names - Flight and hotel reservations showing both names
  11. I'd hire somebody to do translations. There's tons of cheap services who do this professionally and have all necessary templates. My translation was side by side document with original on left and translated version on the right. If the stamps in passport show entries to the country your spouse is from, this is actually valuable evidence for spousal visa.
  12. Please read my previous replies. He doesn't need to register if he was over 26 when he got GC.
  13. No set list, but you may be asked about addresses where you lived, who pays the bills, how much is a typical bill or rent you pay. You may get asked names of relatives on your spouse side. You may get asked about layout of your place, significant other's habits etc. Make sure to take your spouse with you.
  14. If you count time to enter the US, then K-1 may be 3-6 months faster. If you count time to get GC, spousal route is probably 6-9 months faster. If you count the expenses, CR-1 is probably $1500-2000 cheaper (don't have exact numbers, sorry). K-1 is easier to deny.
  15. G-1145 is not reliable, works half of the time. In addition, set up USPS Informed Delivery to monitor any incoming mail to your address. It's free.
  16. This is good initial evidence of relationship.
  17. Did beneficiary file DS-260?
  18. Agreed, it's pretty hard to develop marital evidence with no EAD and SSN, which hinders opening bank accounts, getting DL etc.
  19. But it depends on I-751 speed? Technically, can't USCIS say that we'll sit on N-400 until I-751 is adjudicated, and by the way normal processing times for ROC is 44 months (just as an example). It could make sense for a regular case, OP's history is messy with I-751 denial. I'd really focus on solving that and even filing WoM if it gets stuck VS trying to get new clean N-400 pulled into this mess.
  20. It was fast tracked because of elections year. Why would it be fast tracked now? I don't see next administration having urgency to naturalize people. Probably more checks in places in general too. How would class action apply to new cases? Thanks
  21. Not a problem. As long as you remember dates, names etc at the interview, you're going to be OK. There's no need to stress over this. Apply in January 2025, first week. Applying exactly on first day of 90 day early filing window sometimes causes denials. So don't apply on 28 DEC 2024. Any time after is OK.
  22. ^ this caused confusion. As well as you saying you were married less than 3 years.
  23. How come you're married less than 3 years if you married March 13 2021? You've been married for more than 3 years then and are eligible to apply for N-400. If: marriage is 13 MAR 2021 Resident since is 28 MAR 2022 Then you can file case on 28 DEC 2024, 90 days early. I'd file first week of January 2025
  24. It does apply to you. You can file 90 days before your 3 year anniversary of being green card holder (Resident Since day). You cannot apply 90 days early of 3 year anniversary of your marriage with US citizen. You need both to be true: married to US citizen for 3 years or more and resident for 3 years (though allowed to file 90 days early if you're married to US citizen for 3 years at that point)
