  10. My income on the i-864 was way over the amount needed to sponsor my wife without a joint sponsor. I have military retirement (nontaxable CRSC), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and VA 100% rating (nontaxable). Did I get this message because I don't have to file taxes and the only 1099 was for SSDI? I upload all the pay statements from all three sources. Should I just ignore it and press on. The income reported as stated on form I-864, I-864A is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos and https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. Note: You, as the sponsor, and any other sponsors household members and joint sponsors, must provide updated or additional evidence for the applicant to present at the time of their interview such as: * Other income * Assets * Proof of current employment Note: You submitted documentation to the National Visa Center through the Consular Electronic Application Center CEAC. You can continue to upload documents to CEAC up until the date of your visa interview.
  11. I'm a US citizen, two I-130s approved. I'm trying to write a NVC expedite letter/interview together, for my wife and stepdaughter. Do I include both on one letter or do I need to complete two different expedite letters.
  12. Finally after almost a year, my stepdaughter was approved last night.
  13. My wife's I-130 was approved 9 Nov 2022. I'm still waiting on my stepdaughters I-130.
  14. Its been 7 months since my spouse I-130 was approved, 9 Nov 2022. My stepdaughter I-130 is still just sitting on someone desk at Texas service center. Both have the same PD, 22 June 2022. I know they are separate cases but this is a bit much. Anyone else have this much of a gap between mother and daughter or two parents I-130 approvals?
  15. Send the K3 ASAP. It may work or maybe not but it only cost postage to send the K3.
  16. Do I need to provide an IRS Verification of Nonfiling Letter to NVC? The letter is not available for tax year 2022 on the IRS website.

  20. MyUSCIS says the following: You are not able to send a new message at this time You may only have two pending messages at a time because we are receiving a large number of inquiries. You will be able to send a new message after we respond to one of your inquiries. I don't have any unanswered email. Is this a glitch?
  21. Its going on two months now since Spouse i-130 was approved and still no update on daughters I-130. Is there anything I can do to get USCIS to process daughter's i-130
  22. I have not filed taxes since 2019, taxable income in not enough. My sources of income are: VA disability (100% P&T, nontaxable) SSDI (not enough to file taxes) Military retirement (CRSC, nontaxable) What documents do I need to provide NVC? I'm I correct that I did to provide VA benefit letter, SSDI benefit letter and CRSC benefit letters along with current pay letters for each.
