  1. Hello, I wanted to know how long it takes to receive the passport after the status is changed to Issued from embassy, visa type is IR-1 and in Islamabad Embassy in Pakistan. Does anyone know how long it usually takes, information is updated in usatraveldocs website/profile for pickup in Islamabad. Its only been 2 days since visa status changed to Issued, but i was just curious if anyone knows.
  2. Hello, my spouse is about to have her medical exam soon, and in the confirmation email from the exam facility they ask for any records of surgeries, my spouse had surgery when she was very young for her appendix but has no medical records for the surgery, will this be an issue? Is having no records of surgeries cause issue with immigrant IR1 visa?
  3. Sounds good to me I just wanted to make sure, other than the new transcripts I got since 2022 and W2s, the only other different information on it will be my new job. Also when i upload the new I-864 do I replace the old one on CEAC? Or do i just add it as other/additional documents? I haven’t uploaded anything after DQ so not sure what the correct procedure is
  4. See that is also what i'm not sure about because I saw people saying i-864 is indefinite and it say that on travel state website, but I don't know if this applies in my case "No, the Form I-864 remains valid indefinitely unless evidence of failure to meet the poverty guidelines in effect on the date of I-864 filing arises" The above quote is from Travel State website.
  5. Hello, i'm wondering if someone can provide me some insight in to this. My wife's has already been DQ'd since 2022, and her interview will be coming up soon. I recently got a new job (literally with in the past month). The income from my last job was already well over the poverty guidelines so I had no issues with I-864 approval, and my new job that I got pays even more, will I need to file a new form I-864? I worked my previous job for 5 years, so all my tax transcripts I have submitted show that previous job. I also filed my taxes for this year before I left my last job so even the latest tax returns/W2 for this year shows that job, and I also have the tax transcript for this year as well with that job being listed on there. Does anyone think this will be an issue if my most current transcripts/W2 show the job that I just left? Should i provide proof of my new Job with a new I-864? I am not unemployed and there was no gap in my employment at all, so thats where the confusion is coming from, I feel like uploading another I-864 is just gonna cause more confusion. But I wanted some advice/input from everyone. Thank you!
  6. Hello, I am the sponsor and my beneficiary has already been DQ'd awaiting visa interview, all of our documents were accepted and no issues were called out by NVC, as we are getting closer to interview i was just looking over the documents I had submitted and noticed on form I-864 that for the A number field for Petitioner(myself) i entered "None" because I didn't know I had one. I am a US citizen and have a US passport but I was also petitioned by my father because i was born outside the US when i was very young along with my mother. So i was not aware of my A number. I am wondering now if this will be an issue during by beneficiary interview. I never entered my A number while filing out I130 or any other form to USCIS and no issues was called out, but I am wondering what is your thoughts on this. Should I re-do the I-864 form or just leave it?
