    I remember reading this when it was posted. Who makes the decisions on what is considered a "gang affiliated" tattoo? My fiancé is covered (no face or hand tattoos) but I can assure you none of them are "gang affiliated." Is there an official tattoo database that is referenced at some point in the application/interview process?

    In your experiences do you think being ALT can have any effect on approvals? By ALT I mean alternative having tattoos, piercings, dyed hair etc... is this something that can be discriminated against during medical exams and or consulate interviews? Would love to hear your opinions! Thanks!

    I appreciate the sentiments but you filed for your fiancé 20 days after me and already have an approval. Congrats to you but this is so unfair. I'm bitter.

    You know what's going to happen? As soon as we get close to inquiry date they will extend wait times once again. I'm just tired and discouraged and not even through step 1.

    I've been told no. And I understand having to wait in line like everyone else, it's just painful. I would not have gone through the trouble of filing not one but TWO expedites if it was not an urgent situation. Seeing people being approved who applied after us is just salt in the very deep wound at this point.

    Congrats....brb CRYING 130500 with 2 denied expedites but why would that matter?! 😭 I hate USCIS

    Snooze fest! They didn't even touch my group AND had the nerve to extend wait times to 15.5 months. Yesterday sucked!

    When sending documents to USCIS (such as a divorce decree in Spanish) is this something I need to have a certified translation of or can I translate it myself? Should I include both the English and Spanish copies or does USCIS only need the English copy? Thanks in advance!
