  1. I personally don’t see them expediting it for that. You are absolutely free to apply for advance parole… but just know that if you get it, it does not guarantee entry back into the united states. This is one of the downsides of adjusting status within the US… you can’t realistically travel until a green-card is approved.
  2. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. Time will really fly once the visa process is done for everyone and it will all be worth it 😁
  3. With the current processing time of 15.5 months, about 17-24 months from start to visa in hand. Although keep in mind that it is different for everyone and will also depend on the consulate backlog in your home country. As some people will also suggest, i highly suggest the spouse visa if you are okay with getting married sooner! It has more benefits than a K1 and it takes about the same time! Good luck with everything, it will be worth the wait 😁
  4. As long as the marriage documents are legal and translated into English, you will be absolutely fine! Good luck!
  5. If she is going to be in the USA that long, you might aswell do adjustment of status. But if you do that, she will not be able to leave the USA until her green card arrives and she wont be able to work until she gets her employment autorization (or green card if she does not file for employment authorization). If you decide to go this route, there is an amazing guide on here for that. if you do decide to go with the spouse visa, then no, it wont be done by September.
  6. Is she a permanent resident/CR1 visa holder? If so then this is fine! Just keep it under 6 months and dont have these be regular trips. Make sure to research more into this. 😁
  7. From what you have said; - Her adjusting status would be fine as she did not have that intent when she entered the united states. - Her bringing her daughter over with the intent of adjusting status would be fraud
  8. Hello! If you are able to, i highly recommend you go for the Spouse visa (CR1/IR1). Both K1 and CR1/IR1 are taking the around the same time at the moment…. So the benefits of a CR1 largely outweigh a K1. With a CR1, it’s cheaper and you become a legal permanent resident as soon as you enter the USA with that visa! You can also work and travel right away, open a bank account easily and so on 😁 good luck!
  9. I dont think there is much you can do. If you’re from an ESTA country, it’s really never advisable to get a B-2 visa.
  10. Having a child together won’t speed up the process unfortunately 😞 if that’s what you were more or less wondering.
